Laughter through tears as I think Chekov said....obviously in Russian.

RBennet deserves to be dropped after his Northampton showing, I'd also drop Brophy, who has been poor for weeks and would have dropped Digby if he hadn't got himself suspended. May, too. He's been poor.

LBennett Okedina Morrison Andrew

As I said in the Wobblers thread I'm quite keen to see if the midfield is better without Digby. He's not exactley a clodhopper but he's not Pirlo either so we'll see.
Other than that I think Kachunga being injured has kept him out of the firing range a bit. He was sparky today so I'd like to see him start.

He's been poor. Stevens LBennett Okedina Morrison Andrew Cousins Thomas Lankester McConnell Okenabirhie Ahadme Part of the problem with the squad is that there is little competition for the Back 4. Ibsen Rossi is injured again and where was the lesser spotted Haunstrup today? Rennett was poor today but the malaise is happening through the team again. Brophy too has dropped right off. Lots of us have suggested Okedina in at RB or a back 3 and Lennett our continued outlet on the right side, playing further forward. I would start the subs that came on today as they at least showed some fight.

Lennett was poor in attacking positions for me today. He got forward quite well in fairness but did nothing to suggest he should be played further forward once he got there for me.
I wish we'd just do it so we can have an answer to the question.

I'd like to see someone nearer to the striker and less players who constantly give away possession on the pitch. It's good Digby will be missing as it'll at least force Bonner to change something.
Stevens Bennett, Okedina, Bennett, Morro, Brophy Thomas, Cousins, Kachunga Ahadme, Fejiri
Gets Bennett and Brophy further up, Cousins can sit with Thomas and Kachunga covering out wide or getting up to support the forwards.

Are we at the ‘play the kids they can’t do any worse yet’?

Are we at the ‘play the kids they can’t do any worse yet’? I really think a couple of the kids are very good so I'd love to see them off the bench. Other league one teams stick their 17/18 year olds into league games I feel we're too cautious sometimes.

Yeah this is the formation to try, only change I would make is Andrew for brophy. But can Bonner set a side up differently?

REMINDER - Milton interchange on A14 including access to the A10 will be closed at 9pm on Tuesday - what with the freezing temperatures may be the final reason to stay at home - after the shite football of course

Bonner won’t set up differently, not enough time on the training ground to implement it. If only we had a couple of weeks without a game, oh!

He has to make some changes. I wonder how many half season tickets the club will sell.

I think the players are getting a fairly free ride here, tbh. Clearly something isn't quite clicking at the moment but I don't think it's just the coaching. I don't think there's going to be a great deal about the way we approach a game that has changed from the start of the season - organised low block, time the press, spring the counter attack, be brave and clinical in attacking phases.
I'd be surprised if that intention has changed from the coaching staff so it's a little frustrating to see the lack of energy, the attacking impotency and the individual mistakes at times lately. What we do and how we do it on the training pitch matters of course, but I very much doubt we're coaching May to duck out of challenges, Digby to swear at the ref, or Bennett to cock up. Clearly it needs something, but the players need to shoulder some responsibility...particularly as they've proven they're much better.
