Interesting interview from Monk that. I thought it was interesting when he was asked about playing out from the back and how it's next season you'll see a big change because we don't want to over burden the players with too much detail right now.
I think that's the first time he's spoken about what he wants us to become and what a United side might look like under him next season.

When we beat Exeter at home I watched on with some disbelief as they persisted with playing out from the back ("You're not good enough ladz!"), but, fair dos, they have come through that sticky patch - when they looked like relegation candidates - and are now very comfortably mid-table.
I wonder how it'll work for us...

Selling out:
Our average attendance must be very good for the season. I know that Nick Pomrey posted our best ever attendance figures earlier in the season but this year must be one of the best since that 91/92 season.

In '92 our lowest attendance was 4810, and the abbey could fit 10000. How close do you think we'd have got this season if we had the extra capacity?

Looking forward to this.
Hopefully Taylor is fit for something. Not sure I'd start him but Derby fans seem to hate him for his Forest connections so hopefully another Booooonne type celebration in front of the away fans will be in order.
It's looking like ZIbrossi is finally having a breakthrough which I'm happy about. Whenever I've seen him the past I've not been too impressed, but the last couple of games have been good. I thought his presser was impressive too.
I'd probably go with Jack and Brophy as the two behind Gassan myself with Cousins returning to midfield and Gibbons back as LWB.
Let's get it done so we can start properly planning for next season.

We got a point at their place earlier this season and no reason we can't do it again tomorrow. Derby have choked a few times this season and with the Championship almost within reach they will be nervous.
I'd be tempted to have Taylor has an impact sub too.
I'm sure we will be safe but it would certainly be nice to confirm sooner rather than later.

Think we need his experience.

Yeah agreed. They've both been good since they've been in the side but there are instances where their inexperience together tells (Wickham's goal last Saturday, for instance). Given it's a Warne team though I think I'd actually prefer bringing Bennett in for Gibbons & moving Andrew to wing-back, and leave the height and aerial ability of both Ibsen Rossi & Jobe on the pitch.

It’s a game where I’d be more confident with Bennett and the experience he brings. I like E G idea actually. That’s probably the best way of trying to nullify their threats.
Rossi made a dreadful error against these in Warne’s first game in charge of them, sums up his time here that we’ve barely seen him since. But if the same thing happens to him or Jobe then I hope our fans are sensible and don’t crucify them, they’re young lads who are the future.
Nerves will play a huge part, if we can frustrate them and be in the game going in to the last half hour then I’d actually fancy us to Nick a win. Avoiding an early goal is a must because I’d then see them seeing it through comfortably.

GD could still be huge come the end of the season so if we go a couple down we can't let it get out of control... I'm hoping they will be as nervous as us though and that might make it more of a leveller...

It'd be nice to feel like we made ourselves safe rather than becoming safe by dint of results elsewhere.
