Clearly very little pre-event planning had gone into this. It highlights an area of weakness in the non playing side management and totally devalued the awards for all concerned.
On the plus side, as several have mentioned, Taylor and Kuchanga were hugely generous with their time amongst the waiting kids and families.
Fully realise we have much greater issues at play both on and off the pitch but just about every kids team there is will put more effort into their awards and honouring the winners.

I'd say a rubbish and seemingly confused end of season awards sums the season up perfectly.

Liam Bennet won what was introduced as the 2003/2004 club+CFU player of the season award. It was all rushed, <half hearted and very tinpot. Not sure it would have been any better delivered or recieved if we were a point better off already. At least Mannion, Kacha, and Taylor took a decent amount of time to sign autographs which means a lot for the kids, and we got to see Dunk on the pitch.Quite a few of us would have stayed if we had known that, not sure if he`s going to be there tomorrow night so it could have been our last time to say "Au Revoir"......We can never say "Good Bye" can we ! Only heard on Radio Cambs as I was driving away through the roadworks at Fen Ditton......yep poor communication for this one I`m afraid !
