"We are excited to unveil this cutting-edge LED perimeter advertising technology at Cambridge United Football Club," Neil Rowe, Head of Commercial said. "This investment in digital perimeter technology underlines our commitment to delivering an exciting and engaging experience for our supporters while offering our partners a powerful avenue to showcase their brands."
With its vibrant display capabilities and flexibility, the LED perimeter advertising system will enable Cambridge United to tailor content based on specific events, promotions, or sponsor activations, further amplifying fan engagement and brand visibility." Puking God. I trumpet my fecking arse at this corporate bag of baxtad shite. Utter arse, arse, arse.
I mean, I'd certainly contribute to a crowdfund to have this message scroll across pitchside in a vibrant and flexible way. Always keen to amplify your arse Good Father. Could you imagine if we actually tried to make this happen :-) I'm in with the crowdfunder! I mean, the money will ultimately find its way to the club, so no harm could ever come of this little plan!

Forget the new advertising boards. I want to see that on the new club badge. It sums up all this rebranding BS perfectly.

It should be said the LEDverts are a great move by United to put more sponsorship money in the coffers...but "an exciting and engaging experience for our supporters" is stretching things a touch 🙄. Makes me cringe just a tiny bit.
All in all, though, well done The Club.

Bristol Rovers seemed to use theirs quite well, with the time and score displayed on them. Maybe we could do that, or have substitutions announced on it too?

Be great if they displayed the terrace chants, i.e. when the oppo goal keeper takes a goal kick, may also be good to see tailored ads like Specsavers when the ref misses something. Would sure brighten up a dull game in L1 or L2.
