Assuming the sick boys make a return: Mannion Okedina Rennett Andrew Lennett Cousins Digby Brophy Lank Kach Gas
Bench: GK, DEF, Simp/Hodd/May, Kaikai, Fejiri, Taylor, Bonne Lank Vs Kaikai up for debate but surely the rest picks itself?

I hope whatever the illness Andrew and R Bennett had is contained and not spread around the squad. All 4 of us in my household have been wiped out by an unpleasant sickness bug which is really contagious. Missed my first home game of the season (other than the Trophy games) last night. I know I am not as fit as the players but I will not be back to normal for a few days yet. I wonder if they share lifts together as both live Lincs way i believe. Better to contain it as you say rather than spread around squad apart from Lyle Taylor who can have it all summer

over 800 sold so will be well backed again. Can't make it myself which may be an omen as I haven't seen us win away all season!!

Does anyone know what we need to do to stay up..?
Sigh. The best thing about the 10 minutes or so we were 'safe' last night was the thought I may never have to see Kaikai, Bonne, Taylor, Cousins (etc) ever again.
This lot just me feel sad...it's even more pronounced when you say goodbye to someone like Harrison isn't it?. I knew the last 3 years were spoiling us at the time but it still hits like a Lyle Taylor elbow to the face. I also hate that some of these players make me feel bad about people like Digger and Brophy. These lads genuinely care even if they're a bit rubbish. They don't deserve the same brush.
Anyway, we'll stay up I think. Monk will just about stumble us over the line and serious questions will begin in earnest. Christ I hope we're brutal with the clearout.
Roll on Saturday 💛🖤
Andrew

Let it be known that the shame I feel for not putting the 'u' in the thread title is almost unbearable. Sorry to one and all. Embarrassing.

I've not seen us win since Newcastle... Home or away ? jeez! Haven't been able to get to any home games - Wycombe was going to be my first since covid but our star-studded lineup of internationals put pay to that idea. "Only" the 8 straight away losses for me since then, I think. At Newcastle we basically just picked our only 11 fit players, so maybe that's a good omen for doing the same again now.

Being 8 years old, 130-odd miles away, and with no family or friends supporting the club, I didn't get to many games when i first started supporting Cambridge. That said, I think it was my 7th or 8th game before I saw us win! :-D

This season has been horrendous. Last night was draining and I'm finding it difficult to care at the moment. Like our centre halves, I'm sure I'll recover. We should be OK if we leave a couple of Players out of the team completely.
