He hasn’t played in League One or Two. I think the three already named could be it. It’s a very exclusive club!

Luke Berry has now scored in the top 5 divisions of English Football. I can’t quickly see who else has managed it but I bet it’s not a big club. The classic answer is, Robert Earnshaw

My bad, I knew he’d done something- By playing in the 2021 FA Cup final, he became the first ever player to play in every round of the competition, from the preliminary stages to the final.

Earnshaw is, if I remember correctly, the only player to score a hat-trick in all four divisions, the two major cups and internationally. Which isn't a bad one to tell the grandkids because I can't see anyone else doing that!

That’s a cracking stat and going straight into my next Pub Quiz.

Apparently Bez is the fourth - Jimmy Willis, Steve Finnan & Gary Hooper before him.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher scored in every division from L2 to Prem with Blackpool. I can’t be arsed to check Luke’s scoring record at Luton, but he’s surely matched that.

Good to see one player on the pitch yesterday who is passionate about Cambridge United. Shame he wasn’t playing for us. Love that he still has Cambridge in his bio

Shame we got nothing for Knibbsy, and Dimi too come to think of it. He seems to be doing really well in Scotland.
I've no-issue with the Bosmon rule as such but it has rather robbed us any income from players that we spent a great deal of time developing (six years for Dimi, four for Knibbsy).
I feel like there should be some kind of recognition for that in the form of a sell on percentage if they get sold on. I'm not sure how you'd manage that particularly but I'd say a four year investment AND the player turning down a contract seems reasonable.
Is what it is I guess. Hopefully we can take advantage of it in the summer by raiding a few smaller clubs best players.

As a bit of light relief over a United-free weekend you could do worse than watch old boys Greg Taylor and Josh Coulson turning out for King`s Lynn v Tamworth live on BT Sport tomorrow at 12.30

Favourite CUFC player: Spriggs. Dublin. Pitt. Lennett.
Favourite CUFC match: vs Leicester C (H) 1982. Without that...?

Listening to this over breakfast. Apologies if it's been linked to elsewhere. At 13.10 they have a guest who is loved across the EFL and is revered at his beloved Cambridge United. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0hl5f6p

Think that presenter only discovered the word "beloved" recently and can't stop spamming it.
Jez does seem to speak well on it though, so can't really fault him on that front.
