Ironside's Donny beat Mullin's Wrexham in the "Lockdown Legends Striker Derby".

At one point it looked as though McCann was one game away from the sack, but he seems to have turned their form around.

They invested heavily in January, signing 7 players, to help turn that early mid two-thirds-of-the-season form around.
This is also worth noting...

That’s a hefty loss for a League 2 club, wonder if there were any exceptional items in there? Our loss was a big one but due to infrastructure investment rather than wages.

Not sure if it’s already been mentioned but Mbunya Alemanji signed for Welling earlier this year. He was the lad who we sold to Roma for 70k a few years back. Wonder if we are keeping tabs on him. I guess you'd rather be the Welling player who was once on Roma's books than the Welling player who had never got a glimpse at a higher level, but that's got to be quite the readjustment of expectations. Shows how difficult it is to forecast a player's potential and how many variables are at play. It also goes to show why young players need to be managed carefully, and this clamour to throw them into the mix - particularly amid a struggle - can be very short-sighted.

Goal bonus eyes on there - not those of a team player! That's what you get with goal scorers though, they are often quite selfish, but if they are good (he is!), its an allowable weakness.

The second part of your first sentence is the key for me. Too much too young? Can he adapt to playing non league football after playing at the highest level. It must be an enormous thing to come to terms with. Fair play to him if he can rebuild his career to make it back into full time professional football in the EFL.

Likely trialing somewhere ahead of next season or joining an academy or something.

Must be hard being Lloyd Jones and about 12 people knowing who you are and another 27 who look at you and wonder if you used to go to school with him or if he works at Tescos.
