Yeah I think Bromley are the pick of those 3 – doing things right off the pitch – although I respect how Altrincham have gone about achieving what they have this season.

There was a list or post last season about most recent relegation of EFL and PL clubs. There were about 10 clubs from memory whose most recent relegation was prior to ours in 2005. Fleetwood was one and obviously they’ve gone now. Forest were relegated in 2005 too and obviously they’re still at risk. Aside from the obvious (Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Spurs), can anyone remember who else was on the list if any?

Bristol City seemed to have always been in the second tier for years and years.

Bristol City seemed to have always been in the second tier for years and years. Yeah, but they dipped back into League One for a year or two about 7/8 years ago. Definitely feel they've been the first club with nowt to play for most years since in that division though.

H was born in ‘ammersmith and played for AFC Wimbledon as a yoof so alas, Bromley aren’t his hometown club. But they are mine. If he stays in the game, I think it would be fitting for our Harrry to return there to have his swansong, esp if they can make it into the league for the first time next weekend.

And he's a lifelong QPR supporter.

Yeah but he will still be checking our results until the day he dies, and that's what really matters.
The action, not his untimely demise, naturally.
GOD I LOVE THAT MAN. And am also completely indifferent to QPR.

Man City (2001) Newport (1997) Salford (1991) Harrogate (due to be relegated in 2010 but reprieved. No evidence on wiki that they have ever been relegated)

American Webb agrees to buy St Johnstone from Brown McDiarmid Park, Perth
Geoff Brown announced his intention to sell his majority stake in December 2022

St Johnstone owner Geoff Brown has agreed to sell his majority stake in the Scottish Premiership club to American businessman Adam Webb.
Talks between Brown and Webb have been taking place over the last few months and a deal has been finalised for the Georgia-based lawyer to take control in Perth.
The American already owns a 10% shareholding in English League One club Cambridge United and both the Scottish FA and the English Football League will need to approve the sale. Webb, along with business partner Matthew Klase, has set up a company in the United States called Saints In America LLC, which will be used to complete the takeover.
A graduate of Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Atlanta-based Webb is the managing partner at Webb, Klase & Lemond and works as a litigator in the state and federal courts of Georgia and other states.
He and fellow US investor Mark Green each took a 10% shareholding in Cambridge United in 2020. Brown, who bought Saints in 1986, announced he was selling his majority shareholding in December 2022, around the same time his son, Steve, stood down as chairman.
He sanctioned the move from Muirton Park to current home McDiarmid Park shortly after taking control.
When putting the club up for sale, Brown said "net proceeds" from the deal would be put towards building a community hub for the St Johnstone Community Trust.

That's the new feeder club set up, no need to use Royston or St Ives anymore

A pre-season friendly Dimi Derby could be on the cards.

My instinctive reaction to this is one of concern.
No idea if that is warranted or not.
