All you 'ex-BA' employees - I bet you're glad you're out. It's an absolute shower of **** at the moment (said as a current BA employee!).
I quite like these videos. As someone said earlier, it's a shame they didn't start them at the start of the season. I assume it's the new media guy's idea?

Yeah they're good. Nice to have a nice informal interview type thing. Agree with the comments about the music though.

Indeed Vess. It's the quite spiteful cluelessness of the Brophy haters that really aggravates. Had one behind me on Saturday. Didn't want to get involved in any verbals* so limited myself to a few passive aggressive peers around my shoulder when Brophy did something good. *Witnessed the block c shenanigans a little while back You want to hear the comments from that goatee'd derelict in polythene trousers in the NRE upper left. Mind you, every U's player gets it in the neck from him should they sin through making a stray pass.
I'm generally considered to be an even-tempered, tolerant & happy-go-lucky fellow, but that baxtad arsewipe fecker is testing my fecking patience & there might be PASHUN unleashed in due course.

I’ve been a big Brophy supporter from early on so was thrilled once others started taking note of his obvious talents. I also think he plays a role that isn’t always obvious; watch how he interacts with the officials, how he’s often at the dugout speaking with Bonz and co during breaks in play. Last night he was the only one of the three subs being shown stuff on a tablet before coming on. He is instrumental to what we’re doing and while he might not be a vocal leader (a la Diggers and Willo), he definitely fits the leadership role in his own way. I just think he’s fooking great.
On a personal note, I brought my five year old daughter to her first game the other week (MK Dons). She’s a wheelchair user and shares my love of Brophy from watching games at home (and my constant Broph preaching). After some problems surrounding her ticket, the club invited us to the hospitality suite after the game as a good will gesture. There she met some players including Brophy. When he heard he was her favourite player he nipped off and returned a few minutes later with a signed match shirt for her which absolutely made her day. So yeah, top lad on and off the pitch.

After a few initial doubts, Brophy has proved to be an excellent signing and adds a whole new dimension to our attacking prowess.
Seems like a really top chap as well.

Useless git. Get him off Bonner!! Not sure where you're coming from tbh....he's not a finisher (and you'll only be one person in front of me in your anger at his pass re. Open goal opportunity at P'boro) But he carries the ball so well.... at speed.... In a terrible couple of months.. I'd say overall he deserves our support..... Well Done James

24 games 0 goals 1 assist This! To be fair he has not looked bad this season, impressed with some of his play but normally when LB. However, you do need to ask the question, we generally play with 1 striker and 3 attacking minded players just behind, having those stats is quite frankly unacceptable and part of the issue why we can hardly score. Williams & Dunk - same number of assists Worman & Simper - same number of assists despite playing less than half the time he has Lankaster - 2 goals 2 assists in less game time. Same for O neil. Even Digby has 1 goals and assist in just 2 more appearances In fact, only our keeper and CB (Jones aside, 1 goal) have worse goals/assists which is a big concern.

This is probably a bonkers suggestion from the same guy who said Holden should play in goal instead of Mannion in the cup against Curzon but… What about giving Brophy a go in a more central role?
Although he is not deemed a “creative “ player like you would call Lankester or Hoolahan, he is our best dribbler by a country mile and is direct. Bonner likes to talk about getting the ball into good areas and the attacking third etc and last season, Brophy was pretty good at moving the ball down the pitch. We severely lack a CM who can run with the ball and can beat a man since Hoolahan. Brophy is no stranger to being played in a different position albeit just further back and has been petty good at LB despite the results. Although his assist and goal stats are pretty poor, maybe taking out the crossing element of his game may see him able to slip through balls in etc. Or at least win fouls in dangerous central areas. Probably my favourite moment from last season which I was physically in attendance was Hoolahans goal against Accrington. Great finish and celebration but it was Brophy picking up the ball midway in his own half, turning and running 50 yards beating several opponents before laying the ball off just inside the area for Hoolahan to finish. All down the middle of the pitch.
I’m a fan of Brophy and I know a lot of people aren’t which is fair enough as he should be on more than 1 goal for us but the Worby midfield is no way good enough to even give us a chance of staying up as there is zero attacking threat from it.
I know it won’t happen but it’s something different.

Heh, 'Worby'.
Brophy did play a central role against someone. I can't honestly remember if it was this season or last but I don't think it worked...
We need to figure out how to get more control in midfield though yeah, or accept we won't have the ball much at all, be defensively coordinated, and have a bit more guile and bravery on the counter. It's what gave us our successes the last two years after all. You don't always need to control a game with the ball at your feet.
