Signs a new 3 year contract. Love seeing us showing faith in our youth system, as well as protecting our assets.

Ambitionless from him. Shame.
Good news this. He looks like he has enough about him to make it at this level & this should be a good season for him. If he can get to 15-20-odd starts across all competitions & some other appearances off the bench I think that'll be a good return.
Not sure about announcing these as "3-year deals" though, personally. They're 2-year extensions.

Yep, he's impressed when I've seen him and looks pretty decent at this level already. Lots to learn I'm sure but another with pretty exciting potential.
Keep 'em coming U's.

Presumably, for younger players especially, they'll be on better terms for the player than the original deal, rather than just extending the duration of an existing contract.

About to say the same thing. I'd guess the original deal has been torn up and the new one to the end of the 24/25 season is on better terms from today onwards, hence it is a new three year deal! More importantly, delighted with this news. Lewis really does look the part as a player and I'm glad we have a plan for his short/medium term future.

Obviously yes, but it makes it sound like he's signed for 3 years more, which isn't the case. Need I remind you, Jerry, of the confusion this caused you with Knibbs' deal

Need I remind you, Jerry, of the confusion this caused you with Knibbs' deal My first thought was he’s here for the next 3 years, not he’s here for 3 years plus whatever he’s got left on his current deal. Makes perfect sense to me!

Let's get voting for him:
Quite obvious that, although a worthy contender, Lloyd is getting votes from P*sh fans.

Yep, need to Vote Simper, not only because he deserves it, but to avoid a load of P*sh scum swaying the vote.

Nah, Jones deserves it this month, Peterborough votes or not. He's comfortably been the player of the season up to this point, too. Knibbs is probably the only one even close.

Jones for me.
Simper has done well though. Really encouraging to see him step up.

Yeah Jones has been excellent, don't give a toss about Pish fans thinking they're funny as if it's some kind of travesty he would win. If it was Digby who scored an own goal and was probably at fault for the Jones OG they were voting for I'd care fractionally more.

Signed for Sutton, again for "undisclosed terms".
Good luck, Lewis.
