Late to the party on this one, but Kaikai is a significant upgrade on Tracey.
He'll always be a promotion legend, but sadly, blows far too hot or cold to ever consistently nail down a spot in this evolving side.
Best of luck to him at Crewe though.

Zeno does see it as part of his game though, even if I agree. He reckons it will come with a run of games. I forgot your wife was related to him.

“In terms of what we're looking for immediately, we need people who are capable of making our starting group,” Taylor said. “Sullay's game was close to it but not quite there.”
“I really enjoyed working with Sullay,” Taylor said. “He's been a credit to himself and performed really well. If we'd had ten contracts to give out he'd certainly have got one. I expect him to do really well at Cambridge.”
That is quite an endorsment for Sullay playing at this level.

I’ve reposted the link as the one above appears not to work now www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.uk/rotherham-united/view,why-it-was-a-no-from-rotherham-united-to-trialist-sullay-kaikai_46059.htm No. Still doesn’t work but if you go to the Rotherham link in the menu then the article is still available.

It's that comma in the link - although not strictly prohibited, breaks up the link when posted. Try this: tinyurl.com/Kaikai-no

I was a little surprised when Rotherham took him on trial as I don't think he's quite championship quality either.
Definitely a very good player at this level if he finds the sort of form he had with Blackpool between 19-21. Less so perhaps the following two seasons but probably still an upgrade on last seasons Tracey.

Started in the hole for Sierra Leone yesterday in their 1-1 draw with Benin in a friendly. Another friendly against Somaliland on Tuesday.

Not a bad result against Benin who are ranked a reasonable amount higher than Sierra Leone.
He should get a win against Somalia, who are way down in the rankings at a similarly level to Gibraltar and Wales.

Interestingly the Sierra Leonian official Twitter has said it's the (unrecognised) Somaliland team, which does exist, not Somalia. All the fixtures elsewhere say Somalia though. Presumably it's the latter & they're tagged the wrong association account haha.

I went to Sierra Leone once. Met a guy on the plane who drove me to Port Loko (where I was heading to meet a friend) with Dutch Barrel Organ music blasting from the speakers (his choice). It was quite surreal. I have no idea how I would have got there without him. Youth, *sighs*.
To make this post slightly more football related, Somaliland's first international match was against Sealand, a block of concrete in the North Sea. It finished 2-2.

Somalialand played at the CONIFA a few years back and if I remember rightly were the media darlings of the tournament as they wore very colourful kits and were just super excited and friendly.
I remember the entire team sitting on the roof of Enfields stadium in the final so they could see, was very old school.

He started again in (I think) a 2-0 win. Didn't score the first; dunno about the second. A match notable for 38-year-old Curtis Davies, who Kaikai will likely be lining up against next weekend, making his international debut for Sierra Leone.
