More to the point, is this not going to have the same dimensions as the previous book? That would be a shame, not only because I have bookshelf OCD, but I actually quite enjoyed the unique feel of the last one. And top left. Now that’s a query I like.

Different dimensions for this one. That was a big decision but I wanted a change and this is more of a traditional non-fiction book with longer chapters, so it felt right to change it up.
It’ll still be a hardback and we’re looking at 216 pages, with a word count just shy of 100,000! So it’s a lot longer than the last book, which was 144 pages and around 50-60k words. We’re also looking at about 70-80 pictures included too.

To be brutally honest the problem is the montage. I know they are de riguer verging on the complusory for club social media channels but in a book publishing context it looks ametuerish. Your writing deserves better Russ. I’d be trying a different designer. The people will decide:

Did no one ask him which cover he preferred?

Well, I mean it's pretty much a plea to change the title to Cambridge United's Greatest Moments....so far.

Did no one ask him which cover he preferred? I thought he was after a free copy...

That's what swung the negotiations. Bonner was ready to storm out and then Paul Barry pulled out his ace card.
"Mark, we've never done this before, but... how about if we promise you a free copy of Cambridge United's Greatest Moments? The cover design is up in the air at the moment, but it's 216 pages of pure hardback brilliance, and you'll love the photos. It'll retail at £14.99, but yours will cost you nothing. What do you say?"
A clearly emotional Bonner, stunned into silence, takes the pen and signs the contract.
"I won't let you down, Bazza."
*He calls him Bazza, apparently. **This is an actual excerpt from the book.

Good day to reveal the winning cover design? Feedback from everyone has been so positive and I expect more of the same.

It's nice, but I don't think the cover matters much. I very rarely decide which book I'm going to read by the cover because I fear I could be missing something insightful, funny or interesting written on the pages contained within said cover.
If I could think of a more succinct way of putting that I would.
