Yeah, good interview. I think as I get older I start feeling more paternal towards young players so when he said "it's closer to home so my family can come and see more games etcetera" I found that very sweet.

Loan moves away from the family eh? It's the making of them, just ask Liam Bennett.

Happy enough with this signing, not the number 1 priority position to fill but a very solid signing nonetheless.

Who was it who said you can never have too many strikers? Might even have been Mr Bonner. I think we were light up front. Less so now. Good signing. Shame it isn’t for the season though.

I'm sure the opportunity will be there to extend in January if it suits all parties.

With United already having 2 strikers and only playing with 1 striker up front at anyone time, have to wonder if this guy will actually get any game time, surely CM or Winger was more of a priority, but as ever money will dictate what United decides to do. I hope this isn’t all the transfer dealing done for United today! Not sure if this is a whoosh, but we’ve only got 2 strikers one of whom is very injury prone. If we didn’t sign any more and one got injured, there would be meltdown on here about us not having any back up!

Bonner referenced that he feels we have four players capable of playing the striker role (Hassan, Fejiri, Gordon and Kachunga) so I'm not expecting any more in.
I don't think we'll sign any more players at all tbh but as many have said, a CM until January seems really important to me.

Bonner said cover for the injured players when talking a out Janneh and Cousins so if we don't sign a midfielder I think he might privately be a little disappointed.

Not involved yesterday in the 18 and no mention of an injury at the press conference? Was anything said by the Radio about his absence yesterday. I suspect he will go back to Palace in January any how.
