In terms or Janneh, if your game isn't about holding the ball up then you need to provide movement to create space or play on the shoulder with runs in behind but he done neither. He just ran around like a headless chicken so we had no choice but to go long resulting in a header with a giant center half.
Njoku come on and his first movement was in behind result in a nice passage of play.

As in the crosses came in from our left, they were battering us there, and then LB at fault for not having is man at his side. The crosses coming in from that side is not the same thing as the goals being Janneh's fault for "not helping Andrew out". Also it's Brophy's man for the first goal, not Bennett's, if you want to apportion blame for a goal coming from a winger not helping out his full-back.

It's telling that of 103 seconds of highlights, we controlled the ball for 2 of them--and for those the goalkeeper merely held the ball after nearly conceding. A really, really poor performance all round. I can understand Harris' frustrations. As the manager, he's got to take some responsibility for the players out there not performing, but he's been here five minutes and got a slew of good performances out of them. He's not had a chance to change the squad at all, and he's stuck with players like JK and Janneh who just aren't good enough, exacerbated by a sudden injury and illness crisis over the traditionally busiest time of year.

Third goal, Janneh lost the ball in midfield and they got a lucky deflection, so some blame on that one. It's Okenabirhie that loses it.

Really? Yes. May wins it, plays it onto Thomas, who shunts it to Okenabirhie, who tries to pass it inside as Janneh is running past, and it either flicks off Janneh's heel or the Peterborough player and goes to them. Whether that comes off Janneh or not (it's a little hard to tell, but I think it does), it's Okenabirhie's poor pass that leads to the ball getting turned over.

Well it wasn`t good yesterday was it !
We just needed to have a foothold in the centre of the park, however if you can`t retain any amount of possession in the final Third as your only attacking threat is Janneh who is a Left Winger (and a Third choice one at that after Brophy and perhaps Kaikai too) then were pretty much on a looser to begin with. My only thinking was that during training up to Stevenage he was pretty much the only option and that he`d get some sort of support from Lankester or Thomas in the supporting role and we just may make it work....well pretty obvious by Half Time it simply wasn`t going to work.
Damn unlucky to loose George when we did in the 46th minute, how much that scuppered anything plan wise for the second half we`ll never know.
Didn`t think Kaikai did much either when he came on, thought Cousins also hade a poor game. Feel for Adam May as he`s no where near the player that he was before his injury.
Game should have been there for Brophy to shine against his former team, and yes break his scoring Duck this season, but dare I say it, He simply can`t hit a Cow`s Arse with a Banjo can he ! He can do the hard part and find space and get into a decent position then..... Ugh !
Neil Harris in his interview not happy with us not competing enough....not sure what the game plan was but really want this to be a one off.
Well done to young Brandon, have seen him a couple of times at St Ives this season and the lad knows where the goal is....I really think he`ll learn a lot from Elias Kachunga ! (my did we miss him too).
Here`s hoping for a good couple of Strikers in pretty damn soon.....though I really think things could drag on for a couple of weeks yet....but bye bye Gordon to South London for me !!

He can do the hard part and find space and get into a decent position then..... Ugh ! It’s partly his inability to shoot, but probably more his reluctance. There was that good chance that fell to him in the first half where he should have volleyed first time, and instead did a lame nothing kind of tap-back towards the centre of goal, hoping that somebody else might shoot instead. With his manager publicly saying that others need to step up with a goal or two, Brophy almost literally passed the buck in that moment. It was a clear abrogation of his responsibility as an attacking footballer.

Haven't seen it back but I actually thought the control he showed to cushion that looping spinning ball with a one touch weighted pass to ?someone? on the penalty spot was actually quite classy...
...a player confident in his goalscoring would probably put his foot through it though, yeah.
Good old Brophy. Gotta love the guy.

Johnno was probably confusing him with someone else, like Janneh, like he often does. Didn’t Brophy cross to Brophy the other week?

Okenabirhie is out until Feb or something.

I felt a bit sorry for Janneh as he looked so out of his depth physically. Thought it was odd that Kaikai didn't play down the middle when he came on initially, he looked sharp when he came on then was shunted to the other wing when Brophy came off and didn't really have a sniff. In all honesty the subs and set-up once they were on made absolutely zero sense to me. Who knows what we're managing in terms of illness, injury, fatigue, "red zones" etc but I was really scratching my head at what we were trying to do when Kaikai & May came on. Obvious move to me at that point was to bring Bennett, May & Kaikai on for Cousins, Andrew & Lankester and go 3-5-2 to give Janneh some support, or at the very least put Kaikai up top, May in the hole, Lankester to the right & Janneh to the left. Once kaikai came on we literally had Liam playing on his own down that right side. Harris was getting wound up by it. Not sure what the plan was but clearly a lack of understanding between Harris and Kaikai. It left Liam horribly exposed and neutralised Liams attackign threat. We were saying it was almost worth sticking Digby up top if we were going to keep hoofing it. At least he'd win a header or two. Poor Janneh was trying but simply out muscled. We really did play into Orients hands yesterday and they won't get two easier goals than yesterdays gift wrapped versions.
