The subject is what it is.
He's only 38... why not. He still looks in shape so sure could give it a good 30 minutes.

How i wish that was possible. His career with us was unfortunately way to short.

Took me a while to realise this wasn't about Luke Berry, even if the "he's only 38" didn't seem quite right.
Either way, as we've had playing the centre backs up top and playing anyone available from the youth team...is this also on the relegation bingo card?

NO WAY Paul Barry is only 38. Worth a go up front though.

Might as well get Dion out of retirement, too.

His knee has snapped with the starting of this thread. This. In all seriousness, the fag end of Barry’s time as a player is one of the saddest things I’ve seen in my time watching football. To repeatedly see a player of such immense quality manage to recover to the point he could take to the pitch, only for his body to repeatedly break down on him after a 20 minute cameo at most, was an absolute tragedy.

He'll always be one of my favourite ever U's players. And that says a lot considering we didn't actually see much of him and a lot of his time here was under Derry. Whenever he did play though he created a real buzz and belief. A fantastic striker.

Is this where we are supposed to blame Strang et al for signing a striker with an injury history?

Is this where we are supposed to blame Strang et al for signing a striker with an injury history? Like the year we went into a season with just him and Jabo as strikers? Obviously we learnt from that and never went into another season with 2 strikers who have spotty injury records
