He also didn't clap Dunk. Not that I noticed anyway. He might have done. Even so - What if he didn't clap Dunk!?! Anyway, I'm not too bothered about bellends screaming abuse at each other on a pitch, it's all a bit pathetic but it's heat of the moment stuff. Carrying it on into social medias is a bit dumb from everyone involved. Including me for just commenting on it right there. We're all idiots. Including you for reading this. Andrew He definitely did clap him He also wrote a really positive comment about him on the club's Instagram when they announced his leaving, calling him a legend / one of the good guys or words to that effect.

I just wonder if we'll see him in the squad this weekend and I think it'll depend on how the club view his little social media outburst. A big game where we need something and they won't want a player drawing the ire of the away fans because of an incident like that.

Every crisis needs a scapegoat. Low IQ fans calling him a w8nker is only going to go one way - shame as Bonne is rubbish. Agree completely. The abuse on here is stupid. He runs & tries, as does bonne. The penalty was hardly crazy, just a forward trying to defend. Would rather that than have someone who refuses to come back. He also spent more time signing stuff and talking to fans after Saturdays game than anyone else. He’s also helped us get important points previously, which shouldn’t be forgotten. We’ve had arseholes at this club, and he isn’t one. Anyone that boos him on Saturday should be ashamed. I don't know how you get through to people that giving dogs abuse at the match or online afterwards motivates no-one. It merely builds resentment and lowers confidence even further. Taylor is an easy, possibly deserving, target after making little to no impact after coming on and giving away that penalty but nothing makes me cringe more than puffed up messages post-game and the jeering from our crowds. No chance he's in the squad Saturday though, not after his immature response online. That's him and Cambridge done, and vice versa.

Even lower IQ footballers needing to make it all about them to justify their own failures is also only going to go one way. We were warned he was a stupid sponge when he signed and is doing very little to prove otherwise . Footballers not winning Mastermind is nothing new. Cant agree with abusing our own players when we have work to do.

I have no problem with him giving a bit back at the time, when emotions are high, just hold your hands up afterwards when you have dropped a bollock. Self- awareness is certainly not his strong point. He seems to revel in the drama and attention, whether good or bad. As good as he could be, you need to be a lot better if you are going to consistently be a sponge. The poundshop lovechild of Joey Barton and Mario Balotelli; without the boyish charm of the latter!

Very few people are motivated by being abused at work. Really stupid when you are wanting the person you are verbally abusing to put a shift in for you and show the quality.
Equally, in most workplaces, if you told a client or customer etc to 'f-off' you would expect some repercussions.
Given that we have a massive game on sat: best just to conclude that they were both in the wrong, shake hands and move on.

It's one of many jobs where abuse is part of it, and that's fair enough. He's a big boy who's been around the block, so it's neither here nor there really.
If he's been taking abuse and gives a bit back, fair enough, I'm really not arsed about that in comparison to the stupidity of giving that penalty away.
Equally, while he's wearing the black and amber the idea of abusing your own player just seems daft. It's not going to give him an extra half a yard, is it?

He's a U until roughly 2.25pm on Saturday. 100% full support until then.
It's a shame he wasn't at United earlier in his career and had the opportunity to learn from the model human being that is Harrison Dunk.
Both exit the club in the same week, never have 2 players been further apart.

Slight issue with Taylor is that he stupidly got himself sent off and suspended for 4 games when we had zero strikers fit. Now he's come on in a strop and given a petulant penalty away, regardless of how soft it is. He's also been out injured. He does kind of owe us something more than the 3 goals against Fleetwood and Shrewsbury. A goal at Vale and all is forgiven.

That’s your opinion of the penalty only opinion that matters is Monks - does he trust him for Saturday. We can’t afford any red cards on Saturday.

Stop being ridiculous. Football is nothing like a workplace, hence Jobe can be headbutted off the ball, given concussion, and the perpetrator gets a few games off. I bet the squad can't stick Taylor.
