Harris has been involved in 8 games against teams which Bonner played earlier in the season. Starting with today's game I show the eight teams they've played against with Harris's points on the left and Bonner's on the right. Both managers played 4 of these at home and four away. 3 Carlisle United 3 0 Portsmouth 1 0 Cheltenham Town 0 3 Shrewsbury Town 1 1 Burton Albion 0 3 Fleetwood Town 3 0 Leyton Orient 0 0 Oxford United 3 10 TOTAL 11 So there's little difference in the quality of management. I suppose Harris was preferred for his what he could offer in the January transfer window This has to be the most absurd comparison I’ve ever seen. What is more likely is that if Bonz had stayed we’d probably have had only 3-4 points max over that set of return fixtures.

Not sure what’s more ridiculous, this post or the OG that put us 2-0 up for our second away win in a matter of weeks.

I presume your username stands for MR P(ish)...that has to be one of the most ridiculous threads and posts I've ever read on here. Aside from the ones that said Bonner had a job for life and would never be sacked. Hmmmm.....

Wait... Bonner's been sacked? It’s ok on Football Manager you can quit and start again and he’s still in charge 😉

Harris no promotions - Bonner one promotion.
Harris v Bonner comparisons do neither of them any favours. I'm not sure it's particularly easy following in the footsteps of a club legend, even one who's time was up, but this Bitter Bonner snowflake obsessive thinks Harris is making a pretty good stab of it and has increased our ppg average by about 0.7ppg's. I'll take that gladly.
Maybe I'll still quietly wonder to myself if Bonner could have turned it round (I think he could) but I can only go on what I know and that's that Harris is doing fine. He should be judged by the targets set of him, which I'd say that would have been to keep us out of relegation worries, and that's something he's on target to achieve.
Job not done yet, but it's looking more than decent.
Andrew

Can we not enjoy the result? This is fucking mental. I love Mark Bonner, he is a tremendous man and a great manager, but tonight I couldn't give a flip about him!

Great timing to bring this thread out. Agreed Harris out. I don't believe so as come next week Harris should have added more points at Pish's expense.

The most ridiculous thread since the last one. Honestly. Before today’s excellence, in his first ten games Harris’s side had taken double the points that Bonner took in his last thirteen (the games that got him sacked), scored double the goals, and conceded half as many. WTF more do you want for feck’s sake?

People need to get over Bonner, his time has gone.
The team is much more positive under Harris.
The reason Bonner was in post for nearly 4 years, was due to A. Taking very eloquently and B. being a Cambridge fan.
I doubt he would of lasted anywhere near as long, without Mullin's goals and Wes's magic.

Never understood those who seem to want us to lose so they can claim that they have been proved right. Bonners time was up, but I’m not sat here thinking- we won, that must prove I’m right and Bonner should definitely have been sacked. Just like I wasn’t thinking after last Saturday’s defeat to a team in the relegation zone- bring back Bonner, should never have been sacked. We’ve taken a huge step towards safety today. That is why Harris was appointed and he’s on course to keep us up. That’s the only statistic I’m interested in.
