Goodness me, I just checked Millwall's fixtures for the rest of the season.
Good luck, Neil.

Harris could be mugging himself right off, taking this on.
Frankly:
Hope so.

You've misinterpreted the tone there, my friend. Hypothetical scenario: Harris goes to Millwall, gets them over the line and goes about rebuilding the squad for another FUll-THROTTLE ASSAULT on the Championship's 10-18th spots. His first signing is a dynamic young right-back wing-back-cum-winger from former club Cambridge United. Knowing the terms of his contract, he manages to bring him in for a cool £40k.

Got to be the floodlight doesn't it? Between that and a multipack of Carabao.

"Club statement: Neil Harris" Corner flag photo, match ball, floodlight or the wildcard of a close up a Harris fist pump? Lots of pressure on the social media guy here. I'm going for the hands above head clapping to away fans after a defeat

Not sure Martin likes him in that way 😳

So we'll never know but what do we think ballpark compensation will be? 15 months left to run. Salary £100-150k pa? Recruitment fees normally 25% of annual salary so double that for compensation?
Completely guessing here but surely it's got to be not far off £100k.

Obviously got some compensation from this, but I imagine it must also have cost quite a bit to get rid of Bonner having just signed a new deal

After several years of sitting comfortably from afar watching the managerial merry-go-round doing its usual thing we are now well and truly on it and will be on it for a long time.

Obviously got some compensation from this, but I imagine it must also have cost quite a bit to get rid of Bonner have just signed a new deal Depends on what clauses were in place in Bonner's extended contract. There would have been provision for a reduced payoff based on productivity, quite often a mutually agreeable sliding skill based on contract length.
