Not sure this obsession is healthy. Brings no benefit to CUFC. Funny though.

This is truly heartwarming stuff - a wonderful, wonderful watch. Ooooh. You're right. I had to turn it off after about 10 seconds when I saw this posted elsewhere. Couldn't stand to watch the rodent. Then saw your message and thought I'd give it another go, and yes - certainly is heart warming. He's coming out with all the lovely stuff you expect to hear when a manager has lost it: players not good enough, not concentrating, some of the players aren't playing for the badge, need to sign new players. Beautiful stuff. Justice being done.

Not sure this obsession is healthy. Brings no benefit to CUFC. Schadenfreude from someone that's done you dirty is one of the purest joys in football. Second to goals and victories, of course, but far more common.

Second to goals and victories, of course, but far more common. Yup. One of my favourite moments in football was at Orient, after Tommy Taylor had defected to them and taken Scott McGleish with him. McGleish running up to us to celebrate scoring, when we could all see the linesman had flagged offside, but he couldn’t. Beautiful!

As the name would suggest I now live in Kent....between Gillingham and Chatham to be percise in the slither of poshness at Chatham Maritime...well i am from Cambridgeshire after all.
As a twice divorced man in my 40s i have regressed to decorating my trendy one bed apartment like at 14 yr old boy (although with less need to hide the adult literature) complete with cambridge united tea towel, blanket, badges etc
Anyhow, fairplay to the area people support their local team - there is a good sprinking of Gills, Palace, Charlton and Millwall fans. Yesterday, the boiler needed changing and so i worked from home to let in the plumber (adult literature suitably hidden aka 13yr old boy). He walked in took a look at my place and shook my hand. He then went on a 20min rant about Harris and what a truly dispicible man he is - allegedly swearing at children when at the Gills among other things. He said something that stuck - something about that man just triggers a reaction - and i think he is right.
The hope in Gillingham is the same as many here that Millwall go down and stay down long enough for the Gills to play them...although Harris will be long gone by then. Shame really especially for those of us old enough to remember the special relationship between the Us and Millwall.
Busy building allies in Kent....

Given their proclivity for a dreadful result against teams around them, Millwall aren't safe just yet but I think they've done just about enough so far to suggest they'll stay up. The relegation battle in the Championship is brilliant this season though so I'm sure there's a couple more twists to come.

In gillingham theyre more likely mug you and nick your hub caps before youve got your napkin ready

If Millwall can't go down then Birmingham getting relegated would be the most funny given the whole Rooney thing.
None of the clubs down there look like a basket case (yet) though unfortunately so they'll be challenging us for the title no doubt. Championship clubs do all seem like one bad season away from the basket though so who knows.

The likes of Birmingham, Stoke & QPR would be hit very hard by relegation. Not to catastrophic degrees but it'd definitely take them a season or two to sort themselves out.

QPR getting relegated would be my ideal preference but I think they will survive just. Hopefully Wednesday survive so if we stay up, we avoid our annual hammering at Hillsborough although we’re due only a 4 0 loss for our next visit.

QPR made a good appointment at a good time – they've been really impressive under Cifuentes. They should do it from here but they do have a pretty tricky run-in, although every team down there has a fairly similar set of fixtures & they can't all get out of it. Birmingham's is probably the "easiest".
Think if I had to predict who'll be joining Rotherham right now I'd say Huddersfield and Plymouth.

I want Birmingham to stay up because, despite us not getting him twice this season, I really like Gary Rowett.
Also, I've never been to Hillsborough. I was supposed to go for the 6-0 game but had to duck out last minute, so it would be good if Wednesday could come back down again. They also have recent history for treating managers poorly.
