Wish him well. To be honest he makes no difference. He’s just part of a team that deserves to go down.

We aren't a team that is marooned in the relegation zone, we are 5 points above it and at this stage do not deserve to go down. Off you trot to support the CUFC that are bottom.of the league!

Didn't he say in an interview at some point that he'd never really been injured before joining us?

I was going to add something but we've been "end of"ed, so can't.

No need to bring negativity from today into this thread (there are others for that), especially after the news about George.
Devastated for him. His spirit and positivity will be sorely missed in the squad as we battle on. He really is a little ball of joy to be around.
Take care, lovely Georgie. My world will be a little less bright without your smile 😔

When is Grayson starting as I thought he was signed, sealed and delivered?

When is Grayson starting as I thought he was signed, sealed and delivered? Think the club are still trying to work out how to deal with Kennedy who also signed a contract...

ACL is a nightmare injury. I'm gutted for him.
Three weeks to let the swelling go down and maximize movement. The more muscle mass in the major muscle groups around it, the better.
Surgery would involve a graft from the intact tendons (losing a kneecap tendon, perhaps). Surgery is successful in 80% of cases.
Rehabilitation is long and slow. Assuming your knee is in that lucky 80%.
If this isn't crippling, it is damaging and craps on your career. I wish that medical research could come up with a pre-emptive nanotube reinforcement for tendons and ligaments.

Awful news for him. Wish him a speedy recovery. Hope to see him back by Christmas.

Its devastaing news for George and I hope he is back as quickly as possible such as the Autumn. It is however going to leave us with him and Adam May as 2 midfielders under contract recovering from ACL's. Adam just hasn't got really going this season which has been a shame. It will be interesting if after a proper pre-season he can regain some of the level he was at pre-injury. I also wonder if he may even look to move on for regular football elsewhere.

Depending on this summer’s CLEAR OUT and how Monk REBUILDS the squad, I think a loan at a lower level with guaranteed games would be of a benefit to May.
[insert joke about a West Midlands L2 club here]
