Yes who I suspect will both renew. Looking forward to some more new signings now particularly in the forward areas

I think Kaikai will renew, some of his social media posts alluded to staying.

Not so sure about Cousins.

Cousins triggered another contract so has the option to take or leave. Unless he's offered ££ somewhere else I think he will stay but not fussed either way

Yeah, I think we could use that money better elsewhere. Last I heard the club were in discussions with Cousins about the extension option so I'm not sure they'll come to an agreement.

Not surprised he’s signed on again as by the sound of it he and his young family are settled in the local area.

Head says he should have been released as our lack of goals and creativity from midfield were last seasons biggest problem and I thought we needed a raft of new faces with new ideas.

Heart says I’m pleased we have some squad continuity and him and Danny Andrew are indestructible. Whether he starts as much as he previously did I’m not sure but unless Wes comes out of retirement on a 1 game a month contract, Brophy will remain my favourite current U.

Fck it, I’m going to repeat last seasons prediction that he scores 5 goals.

Interesting interview. Implies we'll see more of the 3-5-2, or some derivative of it this season. In which case, signing Brophy makes a huge amount of sense.

Happy with that. He's quite a high chance creator even if that doesn't translate to assists so hopefully we can unlock whatever we need to unlock to get peak Brophy.

If not then we'll get more of the same, which is fine but two more years of the Brophy debate is going to be as tiresome as the previous three.

Very much a Brophy fan so I’m happy he’s signed on again. A little surprised it’s 2 years but it shows Monk has faith in him. His strengths and weaknesses are plain for all to see… but I think we’re a better team with him in it.
