Best roads near the ground to park for this one? My first trip to this ground. Looking forward to it now we've already amassed the same points as we ended on last season, with 4 games to spare to pickup a few points. Phew, what a roller coaster it's been this season. I usually park at the top of the hill around where Kellaway Ave meets Wellington Hill and then walk down to the ground. Also parking up that way means you can get away a bit quicker.

Rovers doesn’t seem to be a particularly happy place at the moment. I was quite surprised at the level of fan dissatisfaction with Matt Taylor, although how much of that is of his own making or was the legacy he inherited from Barton is unclear. They even had a thread entitled ‘Back or Sack Taylor’ WITH A POLL. Imagine! (about 47% wanted him gone with a number of unsures).
Anyway I think we can definitely get something here so am going 0-2 to Us with Gassan nailed on to be one of the scorers.

Although I’m 75% sure we will stay up, I don’t think we’re going to start bringing home the points left right and centre as we are still a bottom 7 club with patchy form. Granted Brovers are bottom of the current form table and only beat an imploding Cheltenham to win and score for the first time in 7 games but i can see a repeat of the Blackpool game and score line. A very scrappy low quality game with the decisive goal coming from the 1 bit of semi decent quality from the home team. And of course the Tuesday night factor. Hopefully Vale will continue to self destruct, Bolton will do Shrewsbury and Burton will avoid defeat to Cheltenham.
I’ll be delighted with a 0 0 bore fest.

I just think at times you get a sense of- we’re staying up-we’re going down. On Saturday at HT I was worried. I couldn’t really see us getting anything ourselves and Port Vale and Burton looked nailed on for 3 points.
We then score a goal that 8/10 is saved, slowly but surely Port Vale crumble and throw away a 2 goal lead at home to a team who have nothing to play for. A point for us suddenly looks a very good point… Alfie May bursts through and has to score… he hits the post and we get our point.
You make your own luck. In some ways. We deserve it for pulling off a shock win at Barnsley and following it up against Wigan. Burton have the chance tomorrow to do similar. Surprise on Saturday, now beat Cheltenham. I’m also comforted by the fact Shrewsbury are below us, tricky game for them at Charlton on Saturday.
We have to be confident of getting something tomorrow and it would be nice to do the job ourselves, but those currently in the relegation zone are showing no signs of getting to our points tally, let alone overtaking us.

Yeah, last 10 form table actually puts us bottom 4 - but - below us are Buttons, Cheltenham and Carlisle with Port Vale only above us on a GD of one so a six point gap to the drop with two teams between and a game in hand is, if not relaxing, then certainly a much more welcome place to be than last year.
It's not been the greatest sprint to the finish truthfully but we all know why we stumbled and importantly we're doing better than our rivals and had built up enough of a buffer over others that we were able to absorb our stumble.
Brovers are bottom of the form table over the last 6 games fwiw. I think we can go there feeling fairly confident of a result.

The atmosphere at thier last home game seemed to be quite toxic from the highlights I saw.
Would be brilliant to really get at them from the off and get an early goal, get the crowd on their backs early doors and we take full advantage and coast to a 3-1 win. (Consolation goal for them in the last minute of added time direct from a free kick).
I'll obviously be happy with a precious point from a 0-0 borefest mind.

Can see us going back to the formation we used vs Barnsley, Wigan & Blackpool.
Brophy in for Gibbons, (its a pity he can't play I think he's added a bit of bite to us), and Bonne dropped for an extra body behind like Kaikai maybe. I'd also be tempted to bring Rennett in for Rossi for a bit of experience against Chris Martin too.

Was quite a nasty cut that Rossi suffered on Saturday so he’s probably doubtful due to that. Got to the stage where Monk had no option but to take him off. Will obviously have been stitched up now but still an inconvenience for a CB.
