Honestly the lack of quality in every aspect of our play is alarming. Story of the season. Story of 2 seasons really. One 2-week break and a couple of decent results aren't suddenly going to turn us into a good L1 team. We just need to do what we need to do to stay up this season & then try a different direction in the summer.

Did the ref blow half time early or is the timer in the stadium wrong?

I think we got worse as the half went on, quite clear the front 3 dont play together that often - too far apart most of the time. Very attrional game of football

On the plus side, we've generally been better in the second half recently.

Christ, that was a bit low energy.
It's quite frustrating how uncomfortable we are on the ball. Even compared to other shite like Brovers we don't have the same quality.
Anyway, results going our way elsewhere so I don't really care, it's just one more game chalked off until we can have a summer bin collection.
The games there to be won for someone. Monk seems to have a knack of changing things for the better at half time so I'm optimistic.

The most common trend is our ability to gift a pass to the opposition, so frustrating at times.

Really poor half that, lucky to be 0-0! Against a better side could easily be down 2/3-0. Only pluses are looking dangerous at corners (Digby should have done better) and Rossi looks comfortable coming out of defence. May has been awful, Bonne is not a lone striker and was lucky with that poor pass just before half time. Kai Kai and kacha seem to be struggling to get on the ball. Would like to see Lankester come on for May and the gas man come on for Kai Kai.

***Controversial opinion alert***
A very good 45 mins from Adam May.

Just too many players not really up to the level.
Kachunga, May and Digby turning over the ball way too often. Bonne has played us into trouble twice with lazy lay offs and his constant, pathetic diving is annoying me.
Games like this might be a blessing in disguise if they give Monk a good chance to assess who's worth sticking with. One noticeable thing is how much slower we are to the ball than Brovers all over the pitch.

At least we've gone in at 0-0.
I get that aimlessly hoofing it isn't the answer when Bonne is the front man. Better to get it into feet, obviously.
Only issue is, this 11 isn't good enough to do that. The risk outweighs the reward. Think Monk needs to accept the level he has to work with today and adapt at HT.
If we've got three quickish players up front, hit the channels. Try and turn them. Win throw ins and corners. Try and pin them in from there. They look vulnerable from corners.
Hopefully Gas can come on soon because it really is there for the taking.

Rode our luck there and thanks to Mannion it’s still 0-0. May & Digby just don’t work at this level anymore and with Kachunga in front it’s painful. Bonne isolated as well. Maybe Rennett on, Andrew to WB and play Brophy higher up instead of Kachunga. Vale & Cheltenham not winning so let’s hope it’s all the same at FT

Pretty poor for all outfield players really after a semi decent first 10 mins. Our passing is overall terrible, even 10 yard passes under no duress look like hard work.
Midfield is too deep on the rare occasion we got forward with Bonne all alone.
Brophy had a great opportunity to put in an accurate cross in acres of space but blasted it straight at the first man. Very frustrating.
Reckon first sub around the hour mark if scoreline remains.
But currently we are safe!!

Did the ref blow half time early or is the timer in the stadium wrong? The clock in the stadium has actually been losing time for the entire first half.

Kaikai an absolute liability for me this half. No cover for Bennett no positioning at all, constantly losing the ball.
Doesn't feel like it would take much to 'switch on' because we are so effin switched off at the moment
