All great from the club but last Saturday reminded me what a terrible time 12.30 on a Saturday is to go to a game and will probably hold off on renewing due to the new scheduling. I can understand it for a derby, otherwise I would rather find a dodgy stream! So will matches be starting at 12.30 on Saturdays next season?

I take that to read there will be a small handful that will be 12:30 kick offs spread across L1 and L2 for TV, plus the odd occasion when there's an unusual game with high risk of trouble (aka when P'Boro visit). Otherwise 3pm kickoffs will be the norm

There will be five plus games moved over the weekend, which now seems to include Thursday and Monday, with no clarity on the final number even when the fixtures are actually announced. It's yet another step down the slippery slope and makes me think that the saving of thirty pounds isn't worth it when you could end up missing many more games, which is obviously beyond the club's control, although it would have been nice if there was a bit more of an effort to fight the corporate creep that's reaching further and further down.

The EFL press release claims: Increased notice for fans With the substantial increase in the number of live matches, Sky Sports and the EFL will introduce a new commitment for clubs and fans which will provide longer notice periods on TV selections. The defined notice periods will enable clubs and fans to plan further in advance and this will include the placement of all live matches selected for broadcast for the period to FA Cup third round before the start of the season. Greater parity in the number of times that clubs are selected for TV coverage is also guaranteed.

I think its 5 games across Leagues 1 & 2 combined, so maybe 3 per weekend in League 1 alone out of 12 matches. There are around 17 Saturday home games per season, so around 3-5 home games being moved from 3pm would be a reasonable guess. Not sure if we know how many will be early/late Saturday matches, or moved to Friday/Sunday/Monday. Expect the same number of away games being moved too.

Hopefully they put our games with Wycombe on TV as we know they wouldn't be happening on a Saturday anyways.
All this does give Monk a good chance to show improvement by actually winning some midweek games...

How are the seats at the front of SS view wise? I've only sat in there twice and both times to the side at the back. If I can pick early might as well choose some 'better' seats.

Will be better if the pitch moves towards it slightly. Had a good view of some Uche/Berry specials there.

There is a chance to try the view before you buy Mike. Was towards the bottom of the ST release: Should you wish to see the view from the Mead South Family Stand in advance of purchase, you can do so during these hours by visiting the Ticket Office. From w/c 13 May, the usual opening times of Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 9:30am-3:30pm will return.

Hopefully Sky will have seen our games after the Easter weekend and then remembered their crazy thought that Burton v Cambridge would make a fine choice for Monday night football.
I can see us being in the group of clubs that are shown on TV the minimum amount of times the broadcast contract states.
Predicting now that people will refer to it as Sky Sports Wrexham channel next season.

Thanks Daniel, that'll teach me for not reading the full release! I've just bought the 3 ST's now but might still pay a visit to see what the view is like £500 for an adult and 2 under 14's is really good value it has to be said so credit to the club for that.

Just bought my ST. I'm not comfortable with all the back slapping on here at the moment so my complaint is that I like having something tangible rather than something digital. I know I could pay an extra £5 but I've just paid £390+£1 so I didnt so that. That's a meal deal from Waitrose and I quite like their brie and bacon sandwich.
I'm only just getting over having to replace actual tickets with a 'card' so using a 'google wallet' is a huge disappointment. Bloody the club. Bloody Tunbridge. Bloody suits. Bloody elephants.
Ps when are the fixtures out?
Andrew
