If he has done his ACL, it just shows how far we've come as a club.
Instead of signing permacrocks, we're now developing our own!

"People who experience an ACL tear usually feel or hear a pop in their knee."

Heard a whisper that he's done his ACL and is out for the season. Fingers crossed it was a Chinese whisper 😢 I really hope it's not true. They'll only just be doing simple ball work and running with zero contact football I'd have thought. Unlikely environment to do your ACL in imo. He doesn't have to have done it in training of course. Or even playing football.

This'd be especially gutting if true. He did a bad injury in pre-season before didn't he?

Can we get a fitness coach more sensitive to the risk of ACL injuries, please?
Maybe get nanotubes put in every anterior cruciate ligament and hamstring? What with Thomas out for a while yet and May off to start again at FGR, I am quite nervous of even the possibility of more of the same.

"People who experience an ACL tear usually feel or hear a pop in their knee." Ych a fi 😩 As I did mine two years ago I can sadly confirm this is true. I felt the ‘pop’, approximately 30 seconds before yelling f@ k repeatedly for a period of time. Stupidly, my ‘injury’ was football related, insofar as I ventured into a ditch to reclaim the ball from my son’s grassroots game and slipped… several months on crutches followed and still have problems with it now.

Confirmed by the club - awful, awful luck for the lad and means we 100% need to go out and get another CB

ffs. Gutted for him & us.
Interested to see what we do now. Chance for Okedina, but if we don't bring another defender in probably tells you we're planning on primarily playing 4 at the back. Probably also adds credence to the Ball rumour.

Awful news. Looks like a dip back into the market for a CB - I just hope that Mams makes a full and as speedy recovery as possible. Like all of us I felt he’d be one of our real standouts this season so this is just gutting.

Devastating news for him and us. This was shaping up to be a breakthrough season for him, now its ruined. I hope he recovers well and we see him return to the team in the form he showed at the end of last season. I'm glad for him we extended his contract.
