Should Rachel Reeves resign for lying about her role as an economist? We have all embellished out CVs in some way. Should Boris have resigned multiple times for his lies? |

Should Rachel Reeves resign for lying about her role as an economist? We have all embellished out CVs in some way. Should Boris have resigned multiple times for his lies? Embellished? It’s a bit more than that. Explains why she hasn’t a clue what she is doing. Not sure I ever lied on my CV to be honest, and Boris didn’t lie to get the job as far as I remember. |

We have all embellished out CVs in some way. Should Boris have resigned multiple times for his lies? Embellished? It’s a bit more than that. Explains why she hasn’t a clue what she is doing. Not sure I ever lied on my CV to be honest, and Boris didn’t lie to get the job as far as I remember. He may not have lied on his CV but he lied about closing Parliament, lied about Brexit, lied about covid parties and lied about a good many other things too! But she did work as an economist at BoE, and the addition of HSBOS was in a Labour post so probably edited by someone else and in any case sometimes when you are succinct it doesn't tell the whole picture. I always say I have over 7 years in leading teams in Rev Ops. Now being strictly true, it would be x years in Sales Ops and x years in Rev Ops (both are similar) and have led teams in some, not all roles. Which one reads better? |

I'm more interested in why "lying" is a problem now when you didn't make a peep about the Tories and various iterations of UKIP doing so as often as they breathed for years. Reeves is a liar. Starmer is a liar. This isn't news. Why is this particular lie enough to draw your ire after an endless supply of more egregious lies with harder hitting and further reaching consequences? |

Assuming you lot on here are typical Labour voters I find it incredible that you all hang onto the coat tails of the MPs who can do no wrong. That is despite things unravelling far faster than anyone could have imagined. |

Jabbing your finger at the rest of the room and saying "you Labour lot" as a default response is a better, if flawed, tactic I'll grant you that.
