The bar for MPs scandals has really dropped to comical levels since the Tories left, eh? Surprised Barry isn't already all over this. Not really sure what she has done. It could be attempted fraud or just a mistake. Either way she got a discharge which was nothing, but typical of the press who hone in on the slightest thing someone had done 10+ years ago. Unless the offences are serious, recent and repeated, who cares if any MP did something wrong in the past. We are not perfect, most of us speed or have down something we shouldn't have. |

What do we think of the assisted dying bill?
I see a fair bit of criticism for 'the Harold Shipman bill' on twitter and plenty of criticism that vulnerable people are at risk but I think I must have missed the point. It's only for people with a terminal diagnosis and with 6 months or so left to live isn't it? It's not for Granny and it's not for people with depression.
I'm in favour, although I've not really boiled down into the details of it.

Well worth a weekend afternoon rabbit hole dive if it interests you. |
