Notice how often Ling speaks in the interview about 'being comfortable'. That says a lot about him in my view.
This is not an inspiring person. When they find that out he'll be on his way again.

I do have have a small degree of sympathy for Mr Fwee year plan.
He has followed successful managers at United, and now Torquay.
The only way is down.

Another flattering photo of ol' marty on our website. Looking all of his 1' 4" next to little kids. Also looks like he ate a few. Say what you like about him but he takes a good picture.

He's definitely a better photo model than he is a manager.

I'm still bafflled by the idea that McClaren is a terrible appointment for Forest. He's had a lot of success at club level, and only really failed at Wolfsburg where the general consensus is that Hoeness was the biggest culprit. Great appointment for Forest. Especially after the utter bollock they've had in charge for the past few years. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Of course its not Steve's fault, he wasn't allowed to spend the millions he felt he needed to do the job properly. It annoys the hell out of me that some top managers have this need to spend vast amounts of money if they accept a job. Sven is a classic example of this, but Maclaren and at a lower level Brabin and Evans are good examples of this. I would rather have a manager like Paul Lambert or Jez who appreciate their clubs financial situation and cut their cloth accordingly.
