Meaningless in many ways but a good workout for some and the likes of Watts, O’Riordan and Rossi can take confidence from being part of a defence that kept a clean sheet. Pleased for Stevens too after his horror shows this season, although I still want 2 more called up so the Barnsley game is postponed. A great night for Kaunda, something he’ll always remember.

Surprised Watts played the whole match.

Monk's win % has certainly picked up these past 3 weeks. Pointless competition but another win and clean sheet, momentum and confidence. And another £10k in the bank I guess. Up to the heady heights of 25% now. When was the last time we kept 5 clean sheets in a row? The start of the promotion season under Money is the only spell that comes to mind where we might have... EDIT: Yep, 5 in a row from the league game against Hereford to the FA Cup game against Needham Market was the last time. And that was about a month after we'd done 6 in a row from the 3rd to 8th games of that season.

Commentator sounds pretty knowledgeable on us, talking about the cup tie against Man U and running through the team that night. Now showing off talking about our new training ground and how we used to train at Clare College. Matt Ramsey has an account on here.
Someone in the 1340 "crowd" reported Paul Digby self-diagnosing it as "tight".

I appreciated that way the Matt Ramsey ostentatiously ignored every single interjection that Bungle's Master made during the evening. A quite masterful show of disdain, for which many thanks.

I hope Jack Stevens feels better about things this morning.

Had a quick check. If Bromley fail to beat Charlton and we go through, most likley opposition in round 2 will be one of Arsenal U21, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Col U, Exeter, Northampton, P*sh, Walsall, Wimbledon or Wycombe.

If Digby's out for the scum that will be a shame. It was a bit needless playing him yesterday, but I appreciate we were going for the win and the prize money does make a difference.
BUT... I think Cousins is a much better player than many people give him credit for. If he starts on Saturday I'm good with that even though he may not last 90 mins.

I think Digby may have been a last min replacement as KaiKai and Longelo were late withdrawals due to personal reasons and illness.
If anyone can shake off an injury and play through the pain barrier then it’s Digby. He would be a huge miss if ruled out but hopefully going off was nothing more than precautionary.

Yeah Monk alludes to this in his radio interview. He also wasn't planning on playing Bennett for 90 minutes but had too as Digby came off. Hopefully he is ok as are SK & EL for the bench else going to be very threadbare.

Does anyone know where you can find the 50/50 ticket numbers from last night?

Final game in our group tonight, Charlton v Bromley. Presumably some on here will want us eliminated , rather than make some money and a potential Wembley trip.
