I think he's got bored of answering the same things by the time he does the club media one. This is what he said to Radio Cambs. The club man seems to ask exactly the same stuff that has been asked by Radio Cambs and he has been doing that for a few months now, why down we just video his BBC interview than make GM do it twice or ask him different things I agree it does seem bizarre. Doug does tend to ask more direct questions as well. Maybe they want the club one more vanilla?

Copyright issues plugging the Radio Cambs interview on our website/socials? I've seen a few clubs use there local BBC colleagues and I think we have on occasions too...

What game was Monk watching? Yes we had some chances but not 4 or 5 really good chances and not a couple cleared off the line at the end? 1 really good chance that hit the post and Lennet’s shot that was very comfortably stopped on the line. Digby’s and KaiKai’s were half chances and I don’t remember a header from Bonne or Rossi that troubled the keeper. No mention that Rovers could have been out of sight by halftime as we were so poor. Rovers were so much better than us at most aspects especially finding a teammate when making a pass and creating overlaps down the flanks and making incisive, dangerous passes into the box. And they were on an awful run of form. Getting a point would have been extremely fortunate, if Monk thought we could have had all 3 then I want some of what he was drinking all day yesterday. Thats one of the advantages of playing with fullbacks and wingers, it allows them the opportunity to overlap, thats where you need players like Kaikai and Kachunga putting a shift in in front of the wingbacks to stop the overlaps, it happened on the ......they've also got some good quality in other areas, like Evans in midfield, I think it was him who unlocked us for the goal... Agreed. Kaikai definitely works better in a purely attacking role. He can definitely pick a through ball, too when he's been played more centrally. The same can be said for Kachunga. He's got us a few decent 'poacher' type goals arriving late in the box and getting on the end of low crosses but, if they're both on high wages, I think the likes of McConnell and Hoddle could make at least an equal contribution for us next season and the money would be better spent elsewhere.

I agree with what someone said about Monk seeing a different game! Rovers should have been out of sight in the first half! My Rovers mate made a save from a wayward shot! (The same number of saves the Rovers keeper made in the whole game). The ‘U’s defence made me nervous every they tried to play out! The penalty was a result of conceding possession. They kept being caught in possession time after time. If they can’t get the points from the remaining three games then they deserve to go down! Anyway we will be ok because… Burton - Knibbs & York will do them Saturday! Vale - Bolton will pulverise them Cheltenham - games against three playoff sides a bridge too far!

Head butt on Jobe apparently. Although I was there and didn’t spot anything or notice a reaction from our players.

Sue the referee if we get relegated by a point.

I wonder why Jobe didn’t go down at the time? Bit of I experience perhaps. If that goes on to cost us I’m crossing Rovers off my Christmas card list, and removing them from my list of clubs I have a soft spot for!!!!

I have two thoughts on this:
1. Did Joey Barton (complete thug) instil this sort of behaviour in them when he was their manager? 2. If I head butted someone at work, I wouldn’t just miss a few games, I’d be up for GBH. Send Chris Martin for a month at His Majesty’s Pleasure. That would soon stop others behaving this way.
