To be fair, if the rumours are true he wouldn't shouldn't get past the due diligence tests, and would never be allowed to control a football club again.

Very true stocky.
Sadly the due dilligence test has let loads of fraudsters, conmen and lunatics slip through.

I would hope Barry wouldn't even entertain the idea of selling to him, (not that he's got the money in the first place) however the current board members seemed to be fully behind him till Martin Ling intervened so I'm not sure I trust any of their judgements.

According to the Echo today George is willing to "sell" 16% of the shares in the club, as long as he holds on to the other 51% which he "bought". I will post the link as soon as it appears on the Echo website. So it seems Shaun, Higgy, Ridley, me and the other directors missed a trick. We could have aquired the whole club for £25 k when we were looking after it. George thinks thats what he did. On his arrival he agreed to put in £50k and have £50k of shares in exchange, with Make It So continuing to control the remainder. He in fact put in 25k and took all the shares. If I am given evidence to the contrary I will admit i am wrong. In the CVA he and his associates claimed to have put in just shy of £290k, which based on the documentary evidence I have seen is alomost complete fantasy. Again this has been said for a long time and no one has ever come up with any proof to the contrary, so it seems reasonable to assume this is true. I think this is what passes for business methods in the lower reaches of professional football. Bullseye? Monkeys, more like. I think George thinks that if he carries on with his "I own the club" line for long enough, the facts will quietly be forgotten, but that is not going to happen.

Sadly, Mr Rolls does seem to live in fantasy land.

I genuinely felt gutted for the Weymouth fans when I heard he'd taken over there.
My utter relief at hearing he'd departed from here was immediately tempered by the realisation that some other poor club would almost certainly have to deal with the sorry wretch

1. Bronius Preidzius - £81,860 - "services rendered" 2. Swiftpay Ltd (signed by E. Tiskus) - £27,500 - "providing services" (signed Eugenius Tiskus) 3. Able Recruitment Ltd - £6,142.03 - "commercial activities" 4. George Rolls - £66,090 - "Funding" 5. Trade Recruitment - £28,333 - "funding" (signed Pranas Preidzius) 6. Pranas Preidzius - £78,380 - "funding"
Never seen a penny of it ( bar GR's 25k) but its his justification to nab the rest of the shares which where held to benefit wfc. He wants to hold on as there is a document which states if the land developers do not provide WFC with a new ground they will have to pay 7 Million in 2014 to the club, which he "owns" or something very similar. Please take him back, we cant afford him!
