I was in 119... With 3 other season ticket holders and 6 others who have only been to 1 or 2 games this season.
We watched the game.... Didn't stand up like morons trying to pull the metal roof down all game And didn't f and blind irrespective co the kids around us.
The irregular u's want to come to the next home game but were nervous of exposing kids to that level of behavior.
Brilliant afternoon... But only cos we could move across a full block to get away from it.
Ps Coconuts had me smiling like never before as a u's fan

Me and my mate (he's also a long time regular) sat in block 118, and yes it was a touch quiet and I don't think many around us were regulars but all our welcome they paid their money and might come back! I wonder if as many would have the same beneficial opinion of day-tippers if we had lost?. Of course they have their benefits, increased income for these matches, and they do applaud when we do score, and I am in-favour of them attending really, otherwise it would have just been the 2,500 of us, but. I'm abandoning my wife, daughter, dad, father-in-law, sister-in-law and nephew, for the play-off finals (if we get there), to stand in the singing section, with my 7 year old son (for someone so young he is loud, and not embarrassed to shout and cheer), so that I do actually feel the atmosphere. (But then again, I am perhaps slightly odd in that I like to feel the atmosphere at football matches, otherwise its just like watching a match on TV. I have done things the wrong way around as for years I stood in the Habbin, but transferred to the NRE at the age of 35 when we got relegated out of the league because the Habbin was just too quiet)

There is nothing like the Habbin when it does sing though.

I thought it was only me who'd regressed at middle-age. Need a new firm of atavists, tooled up with Yellow Pages & shocking digestive tracts. My son has a good set of bagpipes. Could migrate back to the Habbin (better view) when sufficiently noisy.

There is nothing like the Habbin when it does sing though. To be fair, I do agree with that. When it is singing it is the best place to be, its just an all to rare occasion though, and it is only on those big occasions when it does get going. Perhaps, based on his recent interviews, the Habbin is the real reason why Luke Chadwick remains a big Cambridge supporter?

Nice to see the BBC maintaining their accuracy for detail last night on the football programme "Late Kick Off" by telling viewers Cambridge had won the FA Vase. Makes you wonder about the accuracy of any of their news.

Great day out but let's hope we're not in the competition next season. Would be good to end our appearance in this competition with that win and never to be beaten again. I'm guessing we keep a replica and return the original? It would be fitting to get promoted and return the broken original with a little subbuteo player on top in black and amber stripes.

I've watched the highlights again and again. Did Luke set up Bird with a moment of backheel magic? More and more, it looks like the U's goal of the decade.

Much as I want it to be so, I think it was just a cushioned volley off his instep through the defence for Bird to latch on to. I can see why you might think so though!

Yes instep pass but I thunk the first two goals were class our second was pure skill the pass from Hughes and the touch from Donaldson was brilliant. If they were scored in any other league it would be up their with the best

Day trippers...yeah except for the two morons who decided to spend the entire first half playing with their toys (sorry phones) watching cats farting or whatever it was that was so hilarious then deciding that just as Bird was about to lob was the ideal time to go for half time refreshments, still I saw the goal on TV yesterday so eh who cares. What about the lad asking his dad which one was Luke Chadwick...luckily Dad knew his stuff and pointed out Liam Hughes. Then there was the great chip debate of 2014...dad returning with 2 portions between 5, explaining that he would have needed to re-mortgage the house to have brought 5 portions and then spending the first 10 minutes of the second half dividing them out so that little Johnny and Percy couldn't get upset (Oh yes they could!!). Luckily the whole lot around me decided that the trophy ceremony was not worth the wait and all buggered off home. Personally speaking if I ever see any of these supporters again in the Abbey Stadium I will have to go elsewhere to seek peace, quiet and solitude....otherwise known as a season ticket at the Glassworld! Up the U's.

I'll be honest, I thought I'd get shot down in flames at my hissy fit yesterday. I wasn't in the best of moods and was thinking 'f*ck the world'. I contemplated deleting it because, as I thought, the topic was changed from the glory of winning the trophy to me feeling sorry for myself.
Anyway, it's been a fun read seeing peoples experiences from Sunday. I was in 108, in the corner. Apart from the two noobs who left just before the end and the 3 or 4 bellends behind us that found it amusing to keep shouting about being on acid every 30-40 seconds who disappeared at half time, it was a pretty decent atmosphere there. I think we were just on the edge of the singing section so were caught up in it a bit
