I'm new to the area and the Burton game will be my first at the Abbey.
Are there any fan pubs or pubs nearby the stadium? Ideally with football on?
I'll be coming by bus to Drummer St.
Thanks in advance!

I'd get up to the ground and go in the Supporters Club - you'll either need to be signed in or take out membership though. cambridgeunitedsupportersclub.co.uk/Not too many pubs close by anymore that show the football.

...none are there? The best close football pub I can think of is Grain store on Parker's piece? It's close to drummer street but a decent 20 minute walk to the Abbey.

Are you already a CUFC fan, or a potential fan, or do you support someone else but need your football fix? Hope you have a great time! Kentish

If you are after decent ales you have the Free Press and Elm Tree; they are much closer to the bus station than the Abbey though.
Oh, but no football....
