I think the home kit will be a safer design this season.
I really like the idea of trying unique/retro kits though and of course they will be marmite but overall Gaz and Hummel have smashed its these past 3 years.

I like retro simplicity. I quite liked Wimbledons kit this year because of the 80's vibe it evokes from the old club. I like the umbro England Admiral kit from the early 80's too.
I quite like a badge in the middle of the chest for some reason. It feels retro South American 🤷🏻♂️.
Sadly, all kits are spoiled by a sponsorship logo. Naturally I'm grateful to any companies who sponsor united but it makes the kits look busily ugly to me. If there was an option to buy kits sans logo I'd be more interested in having one. A mate had a 'defective' one from about 2008 and it's much much much* nicer...I think it was a stripey one. Stripes look much better uninterrupted.
*Much

Massively up for something like this: Plain black shorts, hooped socks. Job's a good'un.

Though I've always been a 'stripes please my good man' person I do believe the smartest and best home kit in recent memory was the first Hummel effort.

It's a fair shout Vanni lad. The truth is that it was 20/21 that was the abomination, not 21/22.

I've just treated myself to a half price 3rd shirt. One of my favourite shirts for a long time.

It remains, year after year, my dream to be able to fit into any of the many Cambridge United shirts I own by this time next year...

I have a blue Fujitsu kit from '91/92 that still fits. Pretty sure they made kits much baggier back then though, they're all a bit tight and form fitting these days.

Never again should our sponsor's business in hard core provision & shite removal be held up for ridcule across the West Midlands:
They've thoughtfully added it to the back, too. The essential third strip is made of a bar code. Scan it at the till for a half-price bottle of Dettol.
