I hope we're replacing the home one!

I would assume so, we have for the last few years. Given the financial state for everyone right now with living costs, fuel increased etc...football clubs in general should be more aware and maybe carry a kit over to next season...do we really need 3 new ones

I do hate this trend of replacing kits every year. Feels a bit like clubs take advantage of their fans loyalty.
However, our home kit is hideous this season so on this occasion I'm all for it. So long as it isn't bastard stripes.

Would be a massive financial oversight from the club not to do it, to be honest - remember you don't have to buy one, though I do appreciate parents with kids will likely have pressure put on them to fork out at a time when they maybe can't afford to. I didn't buy this year's because I didn't like it, so I'm not against them swapping up for the new season! I wonder, given the club's position winning the EFL's environmental sustainability award, whether there could be a special offer made for people who trade in their previous shirt, a small discount or similar. Was taking a read of this, quite interesting: footballshirtcollective.com/blogs/things-we-like/earth-day-2021

As a fan of football kits in general I am a fan of changing constantly. It also keeps things feeling fresh and gives each team a new feel to it.
For instance, this kit will always be remembered for an amazing season. The one the year before is the lockdown legends kit.
It also means if you don't like a kit you can move on very quickly from things. I believe this kit has sold more than we've ever sold before, maybe it's due to circumstances or maybe the youth love it quite a bit as it's different. We would be stupid to not capitalise on the level of sales with a new kit in the summer.

Grew on me a lot this kit. Helps to have some iconic shots in it I suppose:

Good for profits but so bad for sustainability

Isn’t our three year deal with Hummel up at the end of this season? If so it may well be a case where we change manufacturer and have to change design in any case.
I’d like to see Hummel continue as they’ve overall given us some cracking kits.

I thought there was a rule in where clubs had to make kits last 2 years or something, maybe not.

It's Hummel, once more. This season's abomination & the orange supply debacle of 2019 aside, they've been good.
Brentford are making their kit last for two years. It can be done.

This seasons Home kit still looks hideous, shouldn't be hard to better it.

This seasons Home kit still looks hideous, shouldn't be hard to better it. I thought it looks OK from a distance, but gets worse as you zoom in. I noticed that Ghana have almost the same design.
