Having looked at the hoodie again, I'm not sure I still like it. The chevrons look very 'ironed on plastic' in some of the images. Hope I'm wrong.

Looks like the design has been taken from an 80s shell suit!

Chevrons are too bold and wide for me. Would prefer something more discreet.

Those chevrons look shite & totally ruin the whole design. Too wide, cheap & located in a strange position. They make him look quite round shouldered
Bring back Hummel

As above with the criticisms, but in it's defence I like the central badge that's not a badge and it's being modelled well by Kelland who looks happy, so that's nice.
I quite like badges in the middle. Call me controversial but I wouldn't mind it at all if our new kit(s) had a central badge.

Here's the new home kit. Same as my first kit when I was 8. I might even buy one and try to find a way to fit into it...

Having Umbro makes me want to see the old school diamonds around the top of the socks, down the sleeves and shorts with a nice plain simple old school shirt with none of the flashy rubbish that was on last seasons kit. I'm sure Umbro are missing a trick with the retro thing because I bet thats what a lot of fans remember them for back in the 80's.

I would be all over a simple recreation of what Umbro made for United (script initials badge included), West Brom, Bristol City, Bolton etc. around 79/80. I do wonder if clubs avoid these designs because it leaves them with nowhere to go the following season? 'Remember that simple classic design we had last season that everyone liked? Well feast your eyes on THIS...'

I suppose we have a bit more license to be different, where they can mix it up some years with stripes or plain or to have something a bit more flashy, which I think would make a more nostalgic kit that bit special.
