Because I actually choose to read about it, and know that the so-called scientific case for anthropogenic global warming is largely bollocks. Why would YOU actively choose to be wrong? Come on then, give us your reasons why you are correct and the vast majority of scientists are wrong. I await with anticipation…

I assumed he meant the Gary Linekar thing. Nobody is ignorant enough to be a climate sceptic these days. Andrew Apparently they are I’m ignorant enough to know that I need to rely on other people’s lifetimes of study and professional expertise to judge the existence or causes of climate change. To think that “doing your own research” gives you the wherewithal to disagree with 99% of climate scientists is beyond ignorance and right out the other side.

I just think it must be amazing to genuinely think climate change is bollocks.
To miss out on the guilt and anxiety that goes with thinking it's a thing must be bloody marvellous.

It’s difficult to disagree with climate change, but until those in charge start to realise their actions contribute significantly more global impact than my own and start modifying their behaviour as well then I have done as much as I wish to without significantly affecting my standard of living. Also, why if David Attenborough himself in a recent tv programme said the world was 10 degrees warmer 100,000 years ago than it is now, what’s the worry.

As fun as this climate interlude is, I no doubt speak many of us when I say it would appreciated if we could get this topic back on track and discuss what the thread was set up for in the first place.
To that end, does anyone have any thoughts, opinions, insights or updates on the redevelopment of the Abbey?

Stop distracting this thread with talk of Stadium redevelopments, theres a separate thread for that.
