I was hoping Watt’s Portugal absence was due to something mundane like footballer turns up at airport without passport or expired passport. It could be, as good a rumour as any to start! Although the rumours that surfaced about George Thomas and Mamadou Jobe before anything official unfortunately turned out to be spot on. So I’m thinking injury that delays his debut for us.

This is great news. Let’s hope we can keep him fit because he’s a real talent. Commanding presence , reads the game well and can pass.
Also, probably one of the most articulate footballers I’ve heard. Like his comment about being on camp in Portugal a privilege.

We have some thoroughly nice blokes at this club. Never a truer word spoken 🙏

With Watts injured we're likely to be starting with a Zeno/Morro partnership at the back this season. Zorro
