Aye, likewise, can't wait to see him cunting one in from 30 yards in front of the NRE.
And the rest of his game too, naturally.

Really good news. Having him there to replace Thomas/Lankester from the bench in the coming weeks is like having a new signing in itself

I'm guessing he's still a full 4-5 weeks away from getting minutes, even then it's sometimes hard to integrate players back depending on the circumstances of the game so I think we may see him in a pizza express game first. Maybe the Colchester game in mid-October 🤷♂️
Great to see him back.

So pleased to see Adam back. 11 months away from doing something you love must have been torture.

Very pleased to see Adam back today. Got a good reception as expected and hopefully a big part to play this session.

looked good as well for the few minutes he had
imo could do a good job behind the striker

I'd like to see May alongside Digby with Thomas in the no 10 at some point in the season. Not sure we have a player that can pick a pass better than Thomas in the squad at the minute

I actually think I prefer Thomas a bit deeper. We don’t really have anyone capable of receiving the ball off the back 4 and playing forwards. Digby can’t/doesn’t do it. Thomas does it well and he can do it in tight spaces.
The few times May has played behind the striker, he’s looked excellent. He has the pressing ability of Knibbs, but much better quality on the ball.
Ultimately I’d love to see a midfield three consisting of Cousins, Thomas and May. Although I’m not sure we’ll ever see that.
