Maybe we should try him as a striker. I quite like Okedina. He generally reads the game well, is pretty physical, brings the ball out quite well, versatile, and has a decent range of passing (nice, calm and well weighted ball to assist Jack on Saturday for example). Many of his mistakes are things that can be coached out of his game (like letting a ball bounce for example). I'd like to see a bit more of an improvement in those areas if I'm honest, but he has got better in many areas. Some of it perhaps not so easily coachable...he didn't follow his man for the third for example, which is probably a gap in quality he can't fill. I think he's about at his level as back up/irregular starter for a mid-level league 1 side tbh. Andrew

Perhaps it won’t be a bad idea to try him as a striker - Didn’t Dion start out life as a defender and look how that ended up !!

I suspect I'm being old and grumpy here, but am I alone in finding Bennett's whole performative lack of interest thing a bit irritating?

Seeing as Ibsen Rossi is fit, it's already possible. As was Morro when he was dropped instead of Okedina on Saturday I feel as though that was more to give Morrison a rest rather than him being dropped due to being 3rd choice behind Rennett and Okedina

It would be mental if the reaction from the Orient game was to drop Morrison and keep Okedina. Has Morro missed any league games?

But if it’s how he really is, I prefer his grumpy demeanour to the players that kiss the badge of their tenth club as though they are lifelong fans living the dream. Vive la difference.

Big part of keeping Cambridge in Div 1 for last 18 months.
Great shift- good luck for the future.

Definitely. Right time to move on for us but he's been very good & definitely still has something to offer at this level.

Go well Sir. Has been pivotal for the last season and a half, but as many of us have been saying for a while, we can only realistically keep one of him and Morro for next season.

He didn’t like Brophy busting some moves right in front of him post match at Vale.
I’ll miss his seemingly constant arms in the air appealing and his always excellent 10 yard sideways passes to Andrew or Lennet.
A club is going to get a great defender.
