Shouldn’t you be on the Pish forum? Nice to know we’re rent free in your head. Now what is the point in me blocking someone if you quoting them puts their text back on the board? Re Alex Tunbridge's interview...why do the club describe the mainstand as sold out when there are 22 seats still on sale? The NRE has no tickets on sale, greyed out, so is genuinely sold out. The Habbin is not greyed out. Not genuinely sold out. Is this to promote sales? How does that work? I suspect this was recorded in advance and he expected tickets to have sold by the time it was released, think he should've used softer wording on that one. Or a generous read, the club put out a tweet this morning asking those that couldn't make it to release their seat, which could be what's on sale now.

The Main Stand is, in practice, sold out because most buyers want groups of tickets, very few just buy a single. Let's not haggle over terminology - it is fantastic that we are looking at a crowd for the - traditionally poorly attended - pre-Christmas game that would have been a recent league record only two or three years ago.

What an odd thing to get hung up on, honestly.

What an odd thing to get hung up on, honestly. Compared to some of the stuff my wife gets hung up on, it's a relatively big deal. "The loo roll is the wrong way round" "You left the tv remote next to the tv" "You left the kids at the pub" Etc

They sent an email out asking non-attending season ticket holders to release their tickets. Probably seeing those available.

Anything less is wrong and worthy of contempt.

That would never have worked at my mum's old house. She had a screw sticking out of her loo roll holder that had the annoying habit of catching the loo roll when fitted in the 'hanging over position' causing said roll to shred.... damn annoying

Would the tickets on sale be returns for those unable to attend? Would be baffling to turn fans away.

Perhaps what we should be debating (CUSP take note) is whether, for a game such as Exeter on a Friday evening, we should split the South Stand in half with some of that black netting over the seats and sell half of it to home supporters? Exeter’s fans are usually as brilliant as ours but it is a big ask to sell 1400 away tickets for a long journey on the busiest travel Friday of the year?
If it works, then perhaps repeat the exercise for other poorly supported away teams such as Burton, Fleetwood and Posh?

It certainly worked against Forest Rovers last season. High stakes game though, obviously.
Or were they in the Habbin? It wasn't really my focus on the day.

Given we are always told we have a lack of seats it just seems sensible to make best use of the facilities we currently have. Seeing the South Stand 2/3 rds empty is hardly making good use of it.

Should definitely do this for the posh game, they gave us only the minimum allowed so we should reciprocate that.

How can we boost home average attendances after the rebuild, from 6436 to over 8876 (pish) ?
Allowing 15% for away support we could exceed that with a 10500 capacity even without any away fans turning up.
