Something off about him. It’s in the eyes. He’s seen things us mere mortals have not. Stevenage will do strange things to a man.

I know the biased GCP consultation has ended but I would urge everyone to formally write to their District/City/County councillors especially if Lab or Lib Dem who support this as this will cause damage to Utd (ignoring many families across the area)

Interesting analysis..... So, Supporters Club an integral part of future development. But positive.... discussions ..
All I'd say is that CUFC and CUSC in recent times have been at logger heads..... but if CUSC had buckled before for other such so called ventures then (in my humble opinion) we'd not have The Abbey anymore....
I trust CUSC to do what's best for their/our CUFC Club...
We all support CUFC....

In relation to the congestion charge, assuming it goes ahead……I wonder if United will push back midweek kick off times to 8pm to allow more time for fans to reach the Abbey and not pay the charge? It is scheduled to end at 7pm each evening. Very good article in the social chat pages concerning a similar scheme in Gothenburg which only highlights the futility of the Cambridge scheme.

Even 8pm would be tight and it will mean fans coming to the stadium at the last minute and not spending money at the stadium. And that’s before you factor in the impact on youth football - games or training after school which involve travel will be very painful. It’s a disaster for Cambridge .

Great to hear kit supply and new sponsor all completed. Who do we think, McDonalds?

Great to hear kit supply and new sponsor all completed. Who do we think, McDonalds? They wanted a "similar type of sponsor" as Mick George, so presuming it's a local/locally based firm.

There was more discussed at the CFU AGM, first 50 minutes or so was a Q & A with Bonner and Tunbridge featuring most heavily. Worth a listen, to hear MB dispel a few myths that have been raised on here about issues like squad depth, youth team players etc.
