I wondered that or Some kind of Green as they are the only colours I can't recall us having before for an away strip We had a green kit once in the Conference when we played Mansfield. IIRC bit of a last minute job as we'd cocked up the colours, but may have been Greene King related.

Without saying it, it sounds like the budget for bringing in new players will be increased this season. It needs to be, because I'm not sure we can survive many more seasons like we have by the skin of our teeth. Although he also says we'll be losing out on revenue because of the away end going in, so who knows. The kit news sounds, interesting... Well if we want to develop into more of a passing team that brings the ball out from the back that in itself may require us having to spend more money on players who are more technically capable. If that's going to be our style, I'm doubling down on Rossi being starting CB alongside Morro next season.

The away kit is going to annoy a lot of people. I like it already.
I like the idea of a 'safe nostalgic' home kit, so long as it's not stripes.
3rd kit has the potential be absolutely chaotic or an absolute classic. There is no in-between. Hopefully the badge has been replaced with a print of Dunks face.

Hate to say it…. but we have become a professional club..
Lots of time for our CEO, and think he’ll be off to bigger things within a couple of years. Happy to ride this wave for as long as it lasts.
Love the fact we’re willing to take a hit on revenue and sacrifice large away followings, for building up our fan base for years to come. Big respect to our owners undoubtably bridging this short term financial gap.

Like it or not, Alex Tunbridge is moving this football club forward in a very positive way. He won’t please everyone with decisions made but for the future of this football club I feel he is doing all the right things. Agree with this completely and the other supportive messages posted on this thread. I really do think he gets the balance right between respecting the bits from our past that should be respected...and moving us forward with change, innovation and identifying things that will keep us growing. Recruiting him was an excellent decision. (Obviously Strang had nothing to do with it because Tunbridge would have spent the last 8 months out injured if he had....)

Tunbridge uses plenty of corporate speak which grates with lots of people. Corporate speak is awful when vacuous people use it (to sound more important or more authoritative). However with Tunbridge it's obvious he's a really smart guy.

Don't be in any doubt, Tunbridge is a ruthless manager, one who won't shy away from big decisions. I have no problem with that, he is driving our upward trajectory, at the same time as doing the same for his own career.

It's also because he is a CEO. Nobody wants to like a CEO and being a CEO in a sport driven purely by emotion... well it just feels so wrong. He is probably very good at his job, but hearing a boring man talk about boring things in a monotonous voice, especially when those boring things affect the future of what many are passionate about, will always be irksome. It isn't his fault, it's where we are with this game and I'm sure we all wish him the best, but there's two words come into my head at the mere mention of any football club's CEO!

Anyway, I think we should take a raincheck on this until we can analyse further the key takeaways from this water-cooler moment.
