What sticks in my throat this season is our record against the local or localish teams!!
Pre-season I was relishing the fact that we had Pish, Chavs, Orient, Northampton, Lincoln to battle it out with
What did we end up with, all the teams doing the double over us bar Northampton.
Absolute Bo##ocks !!

Thomas’ injury has been huge, leaving Monk having to build a strategy around their immobility plus not having the options to change when it’s clear they are out of form as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s had a pretty big psychological impact too, given his generally bubbly nature. Brophs has looked pretty depressed without his mate around. Yeah, Thomas is a big loss all round. And I’m personally devastated that I’ll be getting no more Silly Boy Besties content from the pair of them (maybe ever 😭). Brophs looked well up for a fight last night though. Another one of his often overlooked qualities is how coachable he is and that is a very useful trait right about now. That coupled with his stealth leadership mean he could be absolutely fundamental in the coming weeks. I’m confident in saying he genuinely cares about the club too.

Lennett in midfield? He has the energy to go box to box, can tackle and can pick a pass. Will also give 100%.
Put Gibbons at right back and play Lennett with Digby, with Brophy and Kaikai either side. Then put Lancaster alongside Taylor or Kachunga upfront.
If you look at our goal against Northampton, Lennett picked the ball up in the middle of the field followed by neat interchanges with Lankester to put the ball on a plate for Kachunga.
Surely worth a go:
Mannion Gibbons, Morro. Okedina, Andrew Digby Brophy, Lennett, Kaikai Lankester, Kachunga/Taylor
