I said we wouldn't be in one, we evidently are.
Might as well keep tabs on those poor clubs who will end up losing the battle while we wrap up survival with a couple of games to spare.
So, with three teams being able to overtake us today, providing they win, this is how it stands at half-time:
Accrington 0-0 Bristol Rovers Burton 0-2 Shrewsbury Exeter 0-0 Forest Green MK Dons 0-0 Lincoln

After how many games played does a 'relegation battle' officially start?
...results going well for us so far.

FGR 1-0 now against Exeter Just as you were posting that Daniel I was looking at the table and thinking that even bottom placed FGR could survive if they put a bit of a mini run together! Gulp…..

We're in a relegation battle - look at our form. We also won't have the budget to buy ourselves out of this.

We are, but when did it become a relegation battle for most people?
Someone said the other day that as inportant it is we don't let the bottom four catch us, it's also of importance that the teams above don't cut us adrift, and so far neither of Cheltenham, Oxford, Fleetford and Lincoln are picking up maximum points. As it stands a win for us next week could drag a few more teams into it which can only be a good thing.

Misery crew swapping allegiance from "teams behind us with games in hand are dangerous" to "points on the board more valuable"

Not a terrible set of results. The four fellow relegation-battling sides in action had a collective 12 points to play for but only took five.

Exactly where we deserve to be, we've been dire for months, too many players just not good enough at this level, and a young manager who is v evidently struggling. All that said, I've still hope (for now) with some quality recruits we could dig ourselves out.
