If there’s one thing we all have in common right now, it’s that we all bloody hate football (probably).
With that in mind, at least the new season of F1 is upon us for some distraction. Any of you lot like it? Thoughts on the new season?
Seems somewhat ominous what we’re in for with testing over, but the real joy is always in the midfield and Alonso’s Aston could be the narrative string to tug on (ooh err).

I fell back in love with it during COVID times. The condensed season meant it was on more regularly and not a great deal else to do really helped.
I despise anything to do with RBR, particularly Horner and Helmut Marko and like you enjoy the stories more towards the midfield than the front, although I hope the Ferrari and Mercedes can give RB a run for their money this year. Don't have particularly strong feelings towards Hamilton but would like to see him pick up his 8th world title after the debacle of the 2021 season.

Ah well, the hope for the Gaslighting kings not winning another has evaporated!
Viva Alonso!

It's not Formula 1, and I am not that interested in motor racing, but being in the area I thought I would go see a 6 hour endurance race at the Nurburgring. Kinda one for the bucket list. That's souped up Mercs, Porsches, Audis etc by the way, nothing too fancy.
How long could 6 hours feel, I wondered? Well the answer is 10 minutes because that's how long it took for the front 7 cars to wipe each other out and the red flag to come up. They seem to be trying to get going again, but after the fleeting excitement of the crash, I am now so bored I am posting on this thread.

Kentish That combined with the explosion yesterday means it sounds like it's going well!
