Here's what I'd go for, having thought about it. Just needs the arches above the name adjusted to line up with the bits underneath but I don't have the patience to do that.

The underlining of "FC" makes me sing it like James Acaster's Kettering Town, so I can't get on board with that.

The amount of times I've tried to sing that to myself. Jesus.
The name on the badge makes it a bit naffer to me. I prefer the subtlety of having 'United in Endeavour' on it I think, it's a little more of an in the know nod to supporters, and much less 'eager-to-please-ignorant-outsiders' looking.

I'm not so bothered about what goes there but I think there rally ought to be something underneath to weight it, and 100% they need to sort out the curve, weight, and spacing of the three bottom arches. If they go for Option 2 and don't do that it will forever annoy me!

The stained glass bullet seems a bit religiously intolerant for my liking. I feel it might impact my human rights.

Speaking of exciting new badges: Not sure that badge is clear enough for external companies or non-supporters. It could be Rotterdam or anywhere. Liverpool or even Rome. Ooh, this is gold.

I would have thought of all the message board members, you above all would be going Dylan given your interest in the Badge Design! Not sure how many will attend though

It's a fair point but I have parental duties!
Can imagine there won't be huge numbers indeed.

I think the 'arches' is much, much better with Cambridge United in full and the 1912 lamp on it. The overall design is stronger than 1 or 3 too.

I think the lamp on the badge is probably OTT but, agree, much prefer the full name. If I was going tonight it would be my principal feedback. Perhaps someone can get TUNBRIDGE to follow @sweepycufc??

Am not a huge fan of the UNITED in the ball on option 3. Would prefer 1912. Obviously the UNITED looks a tad naff at the bottom but I am only equipped with MS Publisher 😛
