Good.
I've changed my mind about the new badge and now I think I prefer the (updated) ball and book over the (updated) toilet seat lid/light bulb effort
But please, not the asparagus one. Not unless we want to be the laughing stock of the FL.

Tbh, I'm not mad keen on a change but it's obviously going ahead regardless. In my opinion, anything other than option 1 will be make us a laughing stock. Option 2 is a church on fire in my eyes & option 3 just looks shite

Option 2 is a church on fire in my eyes & option 3 just looks shite I think they tried to throw the third badge under the guided bus. The styling doesn't show the same level of effort to simplify. I refer you to my book and ball style notes a few posts up. It speaks to the heart of Cambridge. Ancient and modern.
This could be simplified further. Black outline instead of grey for the back edges of the ball and no dots at the corners. A more cartoon book to allow more amber background in. All with the intention to make this easier to stitch into a shirt or use as a letterhead.

#3 is the only one that indicates it’s Cambridge Utd - #1 could be any old team from Colchester to Carlisle.

Even at this late stage can’t we just steal Birmingham City’s design? Take the best football badge in the world, change the name, the colours, the year, and off we go, marching to glory.
