And likewise, if this is true, then hearing the CFU/CUSP view, rather than one dictated by the club would also be interesting. As they, with Dave Doggett on their committee were strong supporters of the competition developing in its current format.. B Team Boycott by the way. No mention of this in the notes and nothing from CFU/CUSP yet either Good spot. So we still don’t know if any prize money is even available for tonight. Sure they will blame the poor attendance on England playing a pointless friendly though.

Slightly disappointed that no questions were asked about the possibility of at least some standing room provision in the New Habbin.

Hate hate hate when they claim it’s to ‘improve the atmosphere’! If anything it does the opposite. Get rid! BINGO!

So a possibility of a start on the new supporters club and ticket office/shop in the new year. If that happens, ground changes would begin the summer after next? That will of course depend on builders plans being draw up and the requisite planning permissions being obtained. Not sure how quickly that could be done in Cambridge, there's all ways someone wanting to object to anything. No there isn't!

I think you will find a few NIMBY's sticking their hands up. PS. I hope I'm wrong on this one.

I know when D Ruston and Reg were planning the new area, we posted all the houses in and around the Abbey, to Marshalls and Coldhams lane and got very few objections. Plans were fine but money once more a problem.

First question for next meeting:
Who on earth approved the new 'badge' and the money spent on designing it please?

First question for next meeting: Who on earth approved the new 'badge' and the money spent on designing it please? Daniel why do you keep banging on about the cost when the initial article clearly said it was a free design process.

Yeah, right at the end of the story on the website :
"The Club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to North - who worked alongside the Club pro-bono - for their hard work and collaboration over the past few months"
I'd guess they get something if we accept the design but until now it's been made clear this hasn't cost us.

Andrew has now beaten me to it with his reply, I am sure they will be on some retained basis once a design is approved. The club has got so much right recently but got the room wrong on this one

^ unless, perhaps, they're united fans and are doing it as a favour.
Or maybe they think using it on their promotional material for prospective clients is worth giving away a freebie.
I guess it doesn't really matter. The design needs work to be a credible alternative to the current one.

We’re really cocked this up by only offering one design. Should have had various ones and whittled it down. Bad strategy.
