I’d never considered a two tier Habbin before but sounds great. The stand will need to “start” at the north end roughly where the north exit to Coldhams Common is now, and it’s narrow from there roughly to where the centre circle starts presently, about 30 yards at a guess. So we’ll need a narrow stand there and then it can open up into greater depth from thereon southwards.

footballgroundguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/wrexham-fc-racecourse-ground-mold-road-stand-1421340880.jpgIs this the super narrow footprint stand? The wings may be, but the office block on the back is not going to fit even if the area available increases towards the south. I think it more likely to be uniform rows of seating. Exec boxes at the back in the middle as space allows. Kiosks, facilities and bars below the exec levels. No drinking in sight of the pitch after all. I've changed my mind again. I want the wedge shaped stand. Taper stand. Exec boxes at a weird angle. PG8 and PG7, but then continue at the depth of the extreme of PG7 for the rest of the stand.

Does that come with a weird view of the pitch? I thought we wanted to sell them.

We have our next meeting with the Club on Thursday evening (7th September), so please feel free to post any questions you'd like us to ask... Did the meeting happen and are there any updates to share? Anyone any the wiser as to whether this meeting actually took place? Nothing on CUSP website either. Maybe there was nothing to discuss!

The meeting only took place on Thursday and it took them EIGHT days to publish the notes from their last meeting. On that basis Friday it is.
The club won’t let them publish anything before proof reading so hang fire.

The meeting did take place, but real life has got in the way since (aftermath of bereavement) so the notes will be published in the next 48 hours. Apologies for the delay...

Interesting that the music is turned up 20 minutes pre-kick-off with the idea of helping generate an atmosphere. My experience is that, in the NRE specifically, it pretty much kills it & you just have everyone standing around playing on their phones & not talking to whom they're with because it's so bloody loud. It's genuinely unpleasant.
The atmosphere comes from the chanting & the music has no bearing on that.

So a possibility of a start on the new supporters club and ticket office/shop in the new year. If that happens, ground changes would begin the summer after next (after 24/25 season close)?

Given the comments on the match thread for the EFL trophy game and there potentially no longer being any bribe money, can the Club confirm this and why the format is continuing with B teams given the ongoing boycott of the competition. And likewise, if this is true, then hearing the CFU/CUSP view, rather than one dictated by the club would also be interesting. As they, with Dave Doggett on their committee were strong supporters of the competition developing in its current format.. B Team Boycott by the way. No mention of this in the notes and nothing from CFU/CUSP yet either

Not quite, they'll need to get planning permission first. Based on my experience, you could easily be waiting well into next year for that, even if an application was submitted in the next couple of months.

That will of course depend on builders plans being draw up and the requisite planning permissions being obtained. Not sure how quickly that could be done in Cambridge, there's all ways someone wanting to object to anything.
